Obiettivo del progetto è la valorizzazione della cultura immateriale locale dell’area di cooperazione, in particolare il ciclo annuale delle ritualità religiose e pagane, il canto e la musica attraverso la realizzazione di eventi per la valorizzazione delle identità locali. In linea con la Convenzione Unesco sulla promozione del Patrimonio Culturale Immateriale saranno valorizzati luoghi e realizzato un prodotto turistico innovativo legato alle tradizioni locali.

The aim of the project is to enhance the local immaterial culture of the cooperation area, in particular the annual cycle of religious and pagan rituals, singing and music, through the realization of events for the enhancement of local identities. In line with the Convention Unesco on the promotion of Intangible Cultural Heritage, places will be promoted and an innovative tourism product linked to local traditions will be created.

Achievements (IT):

VoCaTe ha valorizzato le ritualità tradizionali nell’area prealpina del Lecchese e del Canton Ticino, per consolidare il patrimonio culturale immateriale dei territori di frontiera, in linea con le indicazioni fondamentali della Convenzione Unesco. Il progetto ha documentato le ritualità religiose e laiche dell’area di cooperazione, contribuendo in modo significativo alla rivitalizzazione dei luoghi, attraverso iniziative di divulgazione e sostegno al turismo. Il patrimonio immateriale attraverso i musei del territorio. Il progetto VoCaTe ha come obiettivo principale la valorizzazione delle tradizioni corali e musicali e delle ritualità dell’area di cooperazione come le grandi processioni, i carnevali, i riti agricoli e le feste liturgiche. In questo ambito, sono stati definiti due nuovi allestimenti museali per far rivivere le tradizioni e le realtà del territorio: il Museo Cantar di Pietra a Tremenico in Valvarrone e il Museo Etnografico a Premana. I nuovi allestimenti, non più basati sull’oggetto, ma sul senso e sull’esperienza, consentono di mettere in mostra il patrimonio rappresentando adeguatamente e rendendo tangibili le tradizioni con l’aiuto di mezzi audiovisivi e installazioni innovative per fare in modo che i visitatori possano fare esperienza della vitalità del patrimonio culturale immateriale, portandoli indietro nel tempo per conoscere e rivivere le tradizioni. I musei presentano tecnologie multimediali moderne per raccontare le storie più antiche della comunità, assicurando al visitatore un'esperienza unica e immersiva. Percorsi turistici e culturali. Il progetto VoCaTe si sviluppa tra il territorio lecchese e la regione del Mendrisiotto in Svizzera e ha tra i propri obiettivi quello di valorizzare il patrimonio immateriale del territorio: le tradizioni corali e musicali, le ritualità, sacre e profane, le radici culturali dell’area di cooperazione. I partners in collaborazione hanno elaborato sei differenti percorsi turistici che offrono esperienze autentiche tra Italia e Svizzera con la possibilità di scoprire pregiati borghi, conoscere gli antichi mestieri e la vita comunitaria di un tempo, approcciarsi a itinerari di arte e fede, comprendere l’eredità storica e vivere attività outdoor tra lago e montagna. Un altro percorso è stato studiato ad hoc per le scuole, in cui si è valorizzato il contenuto didattico delle esperienze di scoperta del lago e della montagna. VoCaTe vuole offrire esperienze stimolanti e attive, che in alcuni casi sono risorse nascoste, ma capaci di rendere unica la nostra destinazione. Sono state messe a sistema esperienze già presenti per creare un prodotto originale, in chiave sostenibile e con attenzione all’ambiente a misura di turista e territorio, che permette di immergersi nelle tradizioni, nei riti, nella storia, nel paesaggio e in tutto ciò che caratterizza l’identità di questi luoghi. È possibile realizzare esperienze di una sola giornata o di più giorni: i percorsi sono pensati per essere liberamente modulabili secondo le proprie esigenze. I temi dei 6 percorsi turistici sono: Percorso dei borghi tradizionali. Percorso tra arte e fede. Percorso sulle tracce della storia. Percorso paesaggi e natura tra lago e monti. Percorso degli antichi mestieri. Percorso proposta per le scuole. Mappe di comunità: Tremenico, Premana e Carenno. La mappa di comunità consiste in una rappresentazione cartografica in cui la comunità vede, percepisce, attribuisce valore al proprio territorio, alle sue memorie, alla sua realtà attuale e a come vorrebbe che fosse in futuro. In questo modo, nasce un concetto nuovo di territorio, che non è solo il luogo in cui si vive, ma che conserva la storia degli uomini che lo hanno abitato e trasformato, i segni che lo hanno caratterizzato. Vi è la consapevolezza che il territorio, qualunque esso sia, contenga un patrimonio diffuso, ricco di dettagli e soprattutto di una fitta rete di rapporti tra i vari elementi che lo contraddistinguono. Per questo istituzioni ed esperti in materia si sono confrontati per realizzare dei questionari da distribuire agli abitanti dei Comuni di Tremenico, Premana e Carenno, così da individuare gli elementi chiave, innovativi e replicabili per stimolare la conservazione "vivente" delle tradizioni e realizzare le Mappe di Comunità di questi tre paesi. Nell'estate 2019, dalla fine di luglio a settembre, sono stati quindi distribuiti e raccolti i questionari. In particolare: a Tremenico 150 questionari distribuiti porta a porta e attraverso i canali social dei gruppi territoriali; 101 le risposte ottenute (67,3%); a Carenno 1250 questionari distribuiti nelle cassette della posta di tutte le case, tramite alcuni punti nevralgici del paese e durante alcuni eventi comunitari; 103 le risposte ottenute (8,2%); a Premana 1000 questionari distribuiti presso i 12 alpeggi che durante l'estate si popolano e tramite alcuni punti nevralgici del paese; 228 le risposte ottenute (22,8%). Promozione attraverso i canali social dei gruppi territoriali di tutti e tre i Comuni. I questionari sono stati poi analizzati ed è stata realizzata la Mappa di Comunità. I risultati ottenuti sono stati presentati alle persone coinvolte e a tutti gli abitanti dei tre paesi, durante delle passeggiate patrimoniali organizzate nel mese di ottobre 2019; le Mappe sono state poi presentate pubblicamente e distribuite nel mese di febbraio 2020: il 5 febbraio, in occasione della festa di Sant'Agata, è stata presentata la Mappa di Comunità di Tremenico; il 9 febbraio la mappa di Carenno e il 13 febbraio la Mappa di Premana. Sulla base delle risposte ricevute, è stato elaborato anche un decalogo che raccoglie le buone pratiche per la valorizzazione del patrimonio immateriale del territorio, partendo dalla sua ricca diversità e per individuare degli elementi chiave per educare alla conservazione "vivente" delle tradizioni. Queste buone pratiche devono essere innovative, riproducibili in luoghi e situazioni diverse e devono potersi mantenere nel tempo.

Achievements (EN):

Vocate has valued traditional rituals in the pre-Alpine area of Lecchese and Canton Ticino, in order to consolidate the intangible cultural heritage of the border territories, in line with the fundamental indications of the Unesco Convention. The project documented the religious and secular rituals of the area of cooperation, contributing significantly to the revitalisation of places, through initiatives of dissemination and support to tourism. The intangible heritage through the museums of the territory. The main objective of the project is to enhance the choral and musical traditions and rituals of the cooperation area such as large processions, carnivals, agricultural rites and liturgical festivals. In this context, two new museum installations have been defined to revive the traditions and realities of the territory: the Cantar Stone Museum in Tremenico in Valvarrone and the Ethnographic Museum in Premana. The new installations, no longer based on the object, but on the sense and experience, allow to showcase the heritage by adequately representing and making tangible traditions with the help of audiovisual means and innovative installations to ensure that visitors can experience the vitality of the intangible cultural heritage, taking them back in time to know and relive the traditions. The museums present modern multimedia technologies to tell the oldest stories of the community, ensuring the visitor a unique and immersive experience. Tourist and cultural routes. The project is developed between the territory of Lecco and the region of Mendrisiotto in Switzerland and has among its objectives to enhance the intangible heritage of the territory: the choral and musical traditions, the rituals, sacred and profane, the cultural roots of the area of cooperation. The partners in collaboration have developed six different tourist routes that offer authentic experiences between Italy and Switzerland with the possibility of discovering valuable villages, getting to know the ancient crafts and community life of the past, approaching itineraries of art and faith, understanding the historical heritage and living outdoor activities between lake and mountain. Another path has been designed specifically for schools, where the educational content of the experiences of discovery of the lake and the mountains has been enhanced. Vocate wants to offer stimulating and active experiences, which in some cases are hidden resources, but able to make our destination unique. Already present experiences have been put into a system to create an original product, in a sustainable way and with attention to the environment tailored to tourists and territory, which allows you to immerse yourself in traditions, rituals, history, landscape and everything that characterises the identity of these places. It is possible to realise experiences of a single day or several days: the routes are designed to be freely modulated according to your needs. The themes of the 6 tourist routes are: Route of traditional villages. Path between art and faith. Path on the trail of history. Path landscapes and nature between lake and mountains. Path of the ancient trades. Proposed path for schools. Community maps: Tremenico, Premana and Carenno. The community map consists of a cartographic representation in which the community sees, perceives, attributes value to its territory, to its memories, to its current reality and to what it would like it to be in the future. In this way, a new concept of territory is born, which is not only the place where one lives, but which preserves the history of the men who have inhabited and transformed it, the signs that have characterised it. There is the awareness that the territory, whatever it may be, contains a widespread heritage, rich in details and above all of a dense network of relationships between the various elements that distinguish it. For this reason, institutions and experts in the field have met to carry out questionnaires to be distributed to the inhabitants of the municipalities of Tremenico, Premana and Carenno, in order to identify the key, innovative and replicable elements to stimulate the “living” conservation of traditions and realise the Community Maps of these three countries. In summer 2019, from the end of July to September, questionnaires were then distributed and collected. In particular: a Tremenico 150 questionnaires distributed door-to-door and through the social channels of territorial groups; 101 responses (67.3 %); in Carenno 1250 questionnaires distributed in the mailboxes of all the houses, through some nerve points of the country and during some Community events; 103 responses obtained (8.2 %); a Premana 1000 questionnaires distributed in the 12 alpine pastures that during the summer are populated and through some nerve points of the country; 228 responses (22.8 %). Promotion through the social channels of the territorial groups of all three municipalities. The questionnaires were then analysed and the Community Map was carried out. The results obtained were presented to the people involved and to all the inhabitants of the three countries, during the heritage walks organised in October 2019; the Maps were then presented publicly and distributed in February 2020: on 5 February, on the occasion of the feast of Sant’Agata, the Map of the Community of Tremenico was presented; on February 9 the map of Carenno and on February 13 the Map of Premana. On the basis of the answers received, a Decalogue has also been developed that collects good practices for the valorisation of the intangible heritage of the territory, starting from its rich diversity and to identify key elements to educate the “living” conservation of traditions. These good practices must be innovative, reproducible in different places and situations and must be able to maintain over time.

Expected Results (IT):

Rispetto ai gruppi target Amministrazioni locali e Comunità locali, che si riferiscono al territorio italiano e svizzero e più precisamente all’area Valsassina, Valvarrone e Valle San Martino (Premana, Esino, Tremenico, Sueglio, Civate, Cremeno, Introbio e Calolziocorte) e nel Mendrisiotto, gli effetti/benefici sono i seguenti: - Disponibilità di un decalogo/linee guida che possono aiutare la definizione di politiche attive per la valorizzazione del patrimonio immateriale culturale - Conservazione delle ritualità più esposte all’erosione (esempio Calolziocorte – recupero delle ritualità in chiave vivente legate alla tradizione dei Servi di Maria) Rispetto al gruppo target Scuole (le scuole coinvolte sono nove in Italia e in Svizzera nei comuni di Premana, Civate, Tremenico, Sueglio, Calolziocorte e Mendrisio). Gli effetti/benefici sono i seguenti: - Disponibilità di un metodo didattico inclusivo attivo (basato su output tecnologici) Rispetto al gruppo target Operatori culturali/Musei, situati nei Comuni di Premana, Tremenico e nei dieci più rilevanti Musei etnografici oltre che nel Museo del trasparente nel comune di Mendrisio in Svizzera, gli effetti/benefici sono i seguenti: - Rendere più attrattivo il patrimonio culturale conservato nei Musei citati - “Vivere” le tradizioni in qualsiasi momento dell’anno riproposte grazie agli allestimenti e attrezzature multimediali in un luogo preciso, il museo" Rispetto al gruppo target Turisti identificabili nel target del turismo culturale e religioso i principali effetti/benefici sono: - Rendere più visibile il patrimonio culturale immateriale - Disponibilità di un panorama più ampio e diversificato di appuntamenti musicali - Possibilità di approfondimento sulla tematica delle ritualità grazie alle conferenze e ai seminari collaterali agli eventi musicali - Disponibilità di una sorta di catalogo di tutte le manifestazioni viventi che avvengono durante il calendario rituale e liturgico e quindi possibilità di conoscere e partecipare al loro svolgimento in chiave esperenziale - Possibilità di venire a conoscenza di luoghi e contesti in cui avvengono gli eventi (monumenti di interesse storico artistico paesaggistico) Rispetto al gruppo target Turisti e Operatori culturali (area di cooperazione interessata) i principali benefici sono: - Rendere più visibile il patrimonio culturale immateriale - Possibilità di venire a conoscenza e di approfondire la realtà delle tradizioni viventi, come avvengono e quali sono gli elementi fondamentali a cui si riferiscono (esempio: maschere a Sueglio, elementi liturgici nelle processioni, abiti e allestimenti tradizionali ecc) - Avere a disposizione strumenti diversificati a seconda del target turistico e culturale di riferimento" Rispetto al gruppo target Operatori turistici della filiera locale e Operatori turistici (tour operator per la commercializzazione) da raggiungere attraverso gli strumenti dell’educational con taglio esperienziale e fiere specifiche, i principali benefici sono: - Possibilità di rinnovare i prodotti turistici esistenti nell’area di cooperazione (relax, montagna,leisure) con l’abbinamento con il nuovo prodotto turistico cultuale/immateriale - Creazione di pacchetti turistici diversificati che hanno come core il nuovo prodotto ma che collegano tutti gli elementi di interesse (enogastronomico, paesaggistico, sportivo ecc) presenti sul territorio - Creazione di una rete di contatti tra operatori che tende a svilupparsi in differenti direzioni e dare luogo a nuove offerte
