Description (EN):

Main project objective is to boost CB cooperation of IT experts in knowledge gaining and on contracting business deals through cluster model as a mean for business inscentives growth. It will build on existing offer, respecting resources and potentials of target areas, add new contents and services align them with the new trends and market demands for IT services. Joint challenges: 1. Regions lagging behind in development, including IT undertakings. 2. High emigration of population, especially young experts. 3. SMEs not cooperating and not develping joint business. 4. Lack of local and regional sources of specialist knowledge. 5. Significant number of freelancers (disadvantaged to SMEs - although entrepreneurs they do not have rights to health and retirement benefits). New solutions: Integrated approach to development of knowledge and skills (formal-informal, physical - e-based environment) CB distance learning e-system (virtual classroom). Virtual cluster with eSME support (freelancer development to SMEs). Project outputs are: 1. Development of IT knowledge and skills in CB region through 13 educational contents for 460 atendees. 2. Development of 1 CB e-learning platform. 3. Development of 2 centers for education. 4. Connecting of freelancers and IT SMEs in the CB region in the CB framework with virtual incubator services, knowledge sharing tools and e-cluster framework. 5. Development of IT support infrastructure. Project main target groups are: 1. SMEs including freelancers, targeting IT experts (460 atendees and users of services). 2. 15 educational institutions, 2 with direct development of services. 3. 10 BSOs, 2 with direct development of services and 3 by replicating services on their systems. 4. General public by reaching 30.000 people with project information in order to give incentive to consider IT as viable educational and business choice.

Expected Results (EN): Range of custer activities enhancing innovation, new technologies and ICT solutions.

Expected Outputs (EN):

Project main results are as follows: 1. Development of IT knowledge and skills in CB region among students, unemployed and existing freelancers as the project target group. 2. Connecting of the freelancers and IT entrepreneurs from the CB region in the IT CB network. 3. Development of IT support infrastructure through two cometence centers. 4. Development of Knowledge sharing platform as an multifunctional and interactive IT tool for learning, knowledge sharing and cooperation. 5. Development of new business support services for IT sector through eSME model. Established IT CB network, through web platform, will not have official legal form but will present the innovative cocept of cooperation in form of virtual cluster since web platform users will have possibility to cooperate in larger teams on complex projects based on their IT sills. Model of CB platform users cooperation will effectively increase the range of cluster activities in the programme region. Since, this project is targeting IT entrepreneurship which is the one of most innovative businesses today, through the cross-border cooperation in form of virtual cluster, experience exchange, networking, raise of IT knowledge and development of innovative IT tool, innovations and new ICT solutions will be directly enhanced. Project is aiming to create web platform which will serve for the cooperation of IT enterpreneurs from CB region, since web platform will be developed to generate smaller sites/profiles of the users, target value is to have 20 web platform users from Serbian region and 20 from Croation region presenting their IT skills and references on the web platform. Verification of the number of the web platform users will be enabled through web site analitics.
