Description (EN):

AD4MAC aims to promote the circular economy and the production of renewable energy in the agri-food companies and industries of the region through the proper management of waste and organic by-products, while reducing the environmental impact. AD4MAC proposes to valorise these wastes and by-products through anaerobic digestion for the production of renewable energy, and the recycling of nutrients to agriculture thanks to the use of digestate. A series of actions are established that include previous studies, experimental trials, demonstration facilities and outreach actions, which will expand and improve the R & D & I capacities of universities and demonstrate to companies the technological options available for the use of waste. This will enable an effective transfer of knowledge and technology to companies and industries in the region and the continuation and implementation of project results beyond completion.

AD4MAC pretende fomentar la economía circular y la producción de energía renovable en las empresas e industrias agroalimentarias de la región mediante la correcta gestión de los residuos y subproductos orgánicos, reduciendo al mismo tiempo el impacto ambiental. AD4MAC propone valorizar estos residuos y subproductos mediante digestión anaerobia para la producción de energía renovable, y el reciclaje de nutrientes a la agricultura gracias al uso del digestato. Se establecen una serie de actuaciones que incluyen estudios previos, ensayos experimentales, instalaciones demostrativas y acciones de divulgación, que ampliarán y mejorarán las capacidades de I+D+i de las universidades y demostrarán a las empresas las opciones tecnológicas disponibles para el aprovechamiento de residuos. Esto permitirá una efectiva transferencia de conocimiento y tecnología a las empresas e industrias de la región y la continuación e implementación de los resultados del proyecto más allá de su finalización.
