Description (EN): RFLSP large infrastructure project’s objective is the development of the life science SMEs’ access to the modern life science research and production capacities by internationalisation and commercialization of related solutions.

Description (FI): RFLSP laajan infrastruktuurihankkeen tavoitteena on tukea biotieteisiin liittyviä pk-yrityksiä pääsemään mukaan nykyaikaisiin tutkimus- ja tuotantokapasiteetteihin kansainvälistämällä ja kaupallistamalla niiden toimintaan liittyviä ratkaisuja.

Крупный инфраструктурный проект RFLSP нацелен на расширение доступа МиСП медико-биологической сферы к современному лабораторно-производственному комплексу, интернационализацию и коммерциализацию высокотехнологичных решений.

Achievements (EN):

The project main results are: - New infrastructure for Life Science R&D project has been planned, prepared and partically equiped in St.Petersburg in the field of molecular analysis and high-yield synteses. - Project has established strong communication channels and created visibility tools for Russian-Finnish Life Science Park and promotion of cross-border region as an attractive place for Life Science business - Project formed a wide busness networks, connected companies, universities, experts, professional associations into different cooperation models and created a value added partnerships between SMEs and other actors of triple helix model. Totally, project directly involved over 50 companies in the activities and events. - Project offered internationalisation support to Life Science industry companies from cross-border region by consulations, acceleration programs, benchmarking visits, trainings and informational support.

Delivered Outputs (EN):

The infrastructure of Russian-Finnish life Science park will be maintained and developed by the project lead partner Teknopark St.Petersburg. Competence Center (R&D Center) and Educational will be created. Project partner on Finnish side, City of Kotka will benefit from the received experience, collected information, established new contacts and new possibilities for Life Science companies for international cooperation. Unfortunatelly, cooperation with Russia has been terminated due to the war with Ukraine, so the full-scale cross-border cooperation launched by the project is on hold for some times.
