Description (EN):

The main success criteria for automotive and technology companies of the Pons Danubii region is to proactively respond to the changing needs of the sectors, and quickly target emerging niches with newly developed services and products. AUTOTECH INFRA helps them in 3 areas: (1) Prototype development and testing activities require large initial investment in equipment, not feasible for individual SMEs. The planned Tata Innovation Laboratory will provide shared facilities and cutting edge technolo gies made available for regional SMEs. (2) A Virtual Technology Studio, as a mobile demonstration environment will be developed for roadshow events and training courses, to improve knowledge on 3D/VR technologies and also to develop the capacities o f regional ICT specialists, enabling them to apply these when implementing higher added value activities (either in design, product development or product presentation/marketing) in the rapidly changing automotive and technology sectors. (3) A virtu al reality based visualisation application will be developed, specialised for business meetings, job interviews and virtual career orientation events for two main purposes, to be demonstrated in roadshow events, to enhance career orientation events ( job fairs and info days) and to be further developed and marketed to interested 3rd parties. As an estimated 2-3000 qualified residents of Tata and similar proportions of neighbouring cities are working outside the area, the long term result of the AUTOTECH INFRA project - higher value added jobs in the automotive and technology sectors – will potentially keep qualified workforce within the target area, thus adding to local prosperity and balancing local economy. Marketing and networking potent ial of the facilities (Tata Innovation Lab and Virtual Technology Studio) allow for cross-referencing, transfer of potential partners and more efficient use of physical space and equipment, to improve effectiveness and sustainability of the results.

Az AUTOTECH INFRA projekt 3 területen segíti a Pons Danubii régió autóipari és technológiai vállalatait abban, hogy proaktívan reagáljanak az ágazatok változó igényeire, és gyorsan piacra juttassák szolgáltatásaikat és termékeiket: (1) Prototípus-fejlesztéshez és –teszteléshez szükséges berendezések megvásárlását önálló KKV-k általában nem engedhetik meg maguknak. A Tatai Innovációs Laboratórium közös használatú eszközök segítségével biztosít majd hozzáférést a legújabb technológiákhoz. (2) A Virtuális Technológia Stúdió egy demonstrációs célú informatikai eszközpark lesz, amely bemutatók, képzések során ismerteti a legújabb 3D, virtuális és kiterjesztett valóság alapú technológiákat, fejlesztve a térség szakembereinek informatikai ismereteit, lehetővé téve a magasabb hozzáadott értékű tevékenységek integrálását a tervezés, a termékfejlesztés, vagy a termékek bemutatása, marketingje során. (3) A készülő virtuális valóság alapú vizualizációs alkalmazás üzleti célú találkozók, állásinterjúk és pályaorientációs rendezvények virtuális térben történő lebonyolítását teszi majd lehetővé. Az alkalmazást bemutató eseményeken és képzéseken prezentáljuk, emellett virtuális állásbörzék és karrier-információs napok keretében is használjuk. Az alkalmazás később a piaci igényeknek megfelelően továbbfejleszthető. Mivel a becslések szerint csak Tata esetében mintegy 2-3000 szakképzett munkavállaló dolgozik a térségen kívül és ugyanez a környező városok esetében is tapasztalható, az AUTOTECH INFRA projekt hosszú távú eredményei - magasabb hozzáadott értékkel rendelkező munkahelyek ösztönzése az autóipari és technológiai ágazatokban - potenciálisan alkalmasak leszek arra, hogy helyben tartsák a szakképzett munkaerőt, ezáltal járulva hozzá a helyi jóléthez és a kiegyensúlyozott helyi gazdasághoz. A projektelemek együttes megvalósítása elősegíti a partnerkapcsolatok megosztását, a fizikai tér és berendezések hatékonyabb kihasználását, és az eredmények hosszú távú fenntarthatóságát.

Hlavné kritériá pre úspech firiem v automobilovom priemyslu a technologických spoločností v regióne Pons Danubii je reagovať na meniace sa potreby jednotlivých sektorov, a rýchlo zacieliť rozvíjajúce sa medzery na trhu s novo vyvinutými produktami a službami. AUTOTECH INFRA im pomáha v 3 oblastiach: (1) Vývoj prototypu a testovacie činnosti vyžadujú veľké počiatočné investície do zariadení, nemožné pre individuálne MSP. Plánovaná Tata Laboratory bude poskytovať zdieľané priestory a moderné technologické zariadenia, sprístupnené pre regionálne MSP. (2) Virtuálne Technologické Štúdio bude inštalované na demonštrácie v podobe road-show výstavných akcií a školení, s cieľom zlepšiť znalosti o 3D a VR technológiách a rozvíjať kapacity regionálnych ICT špecialistov, sprostredkovať ich uplatniť tieto zručnosti pri vykonávaní aktivít s vyššou pridanou hodnotou (buď v oblasti dizajnu, produktového vývoju alebo marketingu) v rýchlo sa meniacich odvetviach automobilového a technologického priemyslu. (3) VR vizualizácia bude vyvinutá špeciálne pre obchodné rokovania, pohovory a kariérne poradenstvá, ktoré budú demonštrované v rámci road show udalostí, k posilneniu podujatí profesijnej orientácie (veľtrhy práce a informačné dni) a ktoré služby budú ďalej rozvinuté a predávané zainteresovaným tretím stranám. Približne 2-3000 kvalifikovaní obyvatelia mestu Tata a podobné proporcie susedných miest sú v súčasnosti zamestnané mimo oblasti. Dlhodobý výsledok projektu AUTOTECH INFRA, pracovné miesta s vyššou pridanou hodnotou v oblasti automobilového a technologického sektoru, umožní udržať kvalifikovanú pracovnú silu v rámci cieľovej oblasti, čo prispieva k miestnej prosperite a vyváženiu miestnej ekonomiky. Marketingový a networkingový potenciál zariadení (TIL a VTS) podporí vzájomné učenie sa, vytvorenie potenciálnych partnerov a efektívnejšie využitie fyzických priestorov a zariadení pre zlepšenie efektívnosti a udržateľnosti výsledkov.

Achievements (EN):

In line with the goal of the project Fogaskerékgyár Kft. has set up an innovation centre in Tata, Hungary. Two high-quality CNC machines were installed for the production of metal products. The Innovation Centre provides companies operating in the region with the expertise to implement their ideas and produce prototypes. The application based on virtual reality, developed by Appentum Kft., enables the organization of business meetings, job interviews and events in a virtual space. The application based on virtual reality, developed in collaboration with Selye János University, makes it possible to design and program a 3D job fair, which can be visited with VR glasses or through a website. The university organised 2 VR job fairs where the application was presented and also two career counselling events. WADO s.r.o. is involved in the project by organizing trainings for high school students, university students, small and medium-sized enterprises in the thematic areas of online marketing, web development, marketing campaigns in the online space, the use of modern web interfaces, e-commerce and operation of web shops.

Expected Results (EN):

AUTOTECH INFRA supports common output indicator CO01 (Number of enterprises receiving support) through involving regional SMEs either as clients of the Tata Innovation Laboratory, or participants in ICT roadshows, ICT training courses and virtual career orientation events. In terms of programme specific output indicators, the activities will involve a large number of participants in joint local employment initiatives and joint training (CO44), and will develop the following new business services promoting employment and consultancy services (O314): Tata Innovation Laboratory; Virtual Technology Studio; virtual career orientation events. The indirect effects of the project will increase employment in the programme (estimated as a 0,3% contribution by 2023).

Expected Outputs (EN):

3, Tangible outcomes: 5-axis CNC milling machine and CNC lathe will be purchased. 4, Tangible outcomes: APPENTUM: 1 application + purchase of ICT equip; Technology demonstration roadshows and trainings on virtual reality development (4pc x 8 h, HU ICT specialists, 12 enterprises - target). WADO: Web design and online marketing trainings (4pcs x 3 h for 15 pers/course,30 enterprises -target). 5, Tangible outcomes: 2 virtual job fairs for 50-75 visitors per each; 2 career orientation days for secondary and tertiary students in the SK for 25 visitors per each.
