Description (EN): PALÓCÚT created the “Palócföld-Hont-Podpol'anie – Traditional Thematic Route“ as cultural touristic thematic route in the Hungarian-Slovak border region. Our mission is - the joint development and touristic utilisation of the common natural and cultu ral heritage of the said border region, - to integrate economic players (tourism enterprises). Target groups: The most important feature of our border region as a common destination is untouched nature and tourism supply based on living traditions. Thus, our visitors are - ecotourists, - cyclists, - those seeking cultural heritage and traditions. With the joint project we plan to satisfy the demands of these target groups on a high quality level so that it draws further guests and generate 10% increase in the number of visitors. The three areas in which the partner SMEs carry out development: - Creating tourist shelters and recreational spots, - Establishing bicycle rent system and equipping it, - Creating the infrastructure and equipmen t for culinary and event tourism based on traditions, organising tours encompassing the whole destination area. The three SMEs design service elements that can also be used by other tourism enterprises of the border region (appr. 500 economic player s): e-bicycles, mobile kitchen, bicycle and passenger transport vehicle, event venue), the development has an impact on the whole Thematic Route area. The activities have unified objectives; still can be differentiated and complement each other accor ding to various needs of different age groups: The most important function of PALÓC ÚT Association carrying out management and communication tasks is to support the sales and marketing of the generated products and services.
Read more Description (HU): A Magyar-szlovák határtérségben - kulturális turisztikai tematikus útként működő - PALÓCÚT határon átnyúló együttműködéssel létrehozta a „Palócföld-Hont-Podpol'anie- Hagyományőrző Tematikus Út”-at.
Közös célunk:
- Az elnevezésben meghatározott határmenti terület közös természeti és kulturális örökségének közös fejlesztése és turisztikai célú hasznosítás.
- A gazdasági élet szereplőinek (a turizmusban érdekelt vállalkozások) bekapcsolása.
Célcsoportok:
Közös desztinációként kezelt határtérségünk legfontosabb jellemzője az érintetlen természeti környezet és a még ma is élő hagyományokra építkező turisztikai kínálat. Látogatóink - ennek megfelelően
- Ökoturisták
- Kerékpárosok
- Kulturális örökségeket, hagyományokat keresők.
Ennek a célközönségnek az igényeit szeretnénk olyan magas színvonalon kielégíteni a közös projekt fejlesztéseivel, hogy azok új látogatókat vonzanak, 10%-os látogatószám növekedést generáljanak.
A fejlesztéseket ezen a három területen hajtja végre a 3 KKV partner, azaz
- Turistapihenők, rekreációs állomások létesítése.
- Kerékpárkölcsönzési rendszer kiépítése és eszközeinek beszerzése.
- A hagyományokra alapozó gasztro-, és rendezvény turizmus infrastrukturális és eszköz hátterét megteremtése, valamint a teljes desztináció bejárhatóságát biztosító túrák szervezése.
A 3 pályázó KKV, a környezetében működő vállalkozások (kb. 500 turizmusban működő gazdasági szereplő) által is igénybe vehető - szolgáltatási elemet (e-biciklik, mozgó konyha, kerékpár-, és személyszállító eszköz, rendezvény helyszín) hoz létre, a Tematikus Út teljes területét érinti a fejlesztés.
Az egységes célok mentén végrehajtott fejlesztések különböző korosztályok különböző igényei alapján lesznek mégis különbözőek és egymást kiegészítőek:
A menedzsment és kommunikációs feladatokat ellátó PALÓC ÚT Egyesület legfontosabb feladata a létrejött fejlesztések értékesítési és marketing támogatása.
Read more Description (SK): Na maďarsko-slovenskom pohraničí združenie Palóc út, ktoré sa zaoberá kultúrno-turistickými témami a cezhraničnou spoluprácou vytvorilo tradičnú cestu s názvom „Cesta Palócko-Hont-Podpoľanie“.
Spoločný cieľ:
- Spoločný turisticko-kultúrny rozvoj a rozvoj cestovného ruchu v názve vymedzeného pohraničného územia.
- Zapojenie miestnych aktérov podieľajúcich sa na rozvoji cestovného ruchu a turizmu.
Cieľové skupiny:
Najdôležitejšou charakteristikou spoločnej destinácie je zachovalá príroda, čisté životné prostredie a turistické ponuky opierajúce sa o živé kultúrne dedičstvo. Návštevníci a cieľová skupina bude tomuto cieľu prispôsobená a budú to:
- Ekoturisti
- Cykloturisti
- Bádatelia kultúrneho dedičstva.
Požiadavky tejto cieľovej skupiny by sme chceli uspokojiť na vysokej kvalitatívnej úrovni aktivitami spoločného projektu tak, aby prilákali nových návštevníkov, aby zvýšili celkovú návštevnosť o 10 %.
Rozvoj 3 KKV partnerov bude realizovaný v týchto oblastiach:
- Turistické oddychové miesta, vybudovanie oddychových miest.
- Vybudovanie systému cyklopožičovní a obstaranie ich vybavenia.
- Gastro kuchyňa vychádzajúca z tradícií, vytvorenie turistickej infraštruktúry a vybavenia pre organizovanie podujatí, ako aj plánovanie turistických ciest pre návštevy celej destinácie.
Traja žiadateľa KKV prostredníctvom svojich podnikaní (cca 500 v turistike podnikajúcich subjektov) vytvoria prvky využiteľné v cestovnom ruchu (e-bicykle, pohyblivá kuchyňa, prostriedky na prevoz bicyklov a osôb, priestor na podujatia). Rozvoj sa bude dotýkať celého územia tematickej cesty.
Na základe dielčích cieľov realizovaný rozvoj na základe rôznej vekovej kategórie cieľovej skupiny a na základe ich potrieb vytvorí rôzne vzájomne sa doplňujúce produkty.
Najdôležitejšou úlohou združenia PALÓC ÚT je splniť úlohy manažérske a komunikačné a marketingová podpora predaja vzniknutých rozvojových výstupov.

Expected Results (EN): The new attractions in the concerned settlements do not have an even impact on the increase of guest turnover. We undertake an increase of the average increase of the region before the project by 10%.
Data base: 430.760 (HU) + 535.409 (SK) = 966.169 guest nights
Target data: 1.065.000 guest nights. With 50,000 persons more visit the project area, according to R110 Programme-specific result indicator.

5, Tangible outcomes: B1: 1 community space with roof for oven and cauldron. Equipments: outdoor tables, benches, chairs, sunshades and indoor furniture for gastronomic shows. Developed surface: 1423,75 nm2 (Terény) B2: 1 buffet car for gastronomic events.
6, Tangible outcomes: 1 online booking system (HU, SK languages): On-line payment. Interface for designing bicycle tour routes. Interface for presenting the basic services for bicycle tourism and GPS-based trail routes.
