This project aims to enable job seekers in the border region to become employed in livestock farming and/or to support regional cattle farms using appropriate training. Initially, COW FORME will analyse the needs of the breeders, especially in terms of managerial skills, in order to target the demand as best as possible. As a result of this work, a training offer for employees, employers and advisers can be put forward, thanks to the know-how of the three regions. The identification of unemployed people who may be interested in training will be carried out. Finally, "focus-farms" (groups of breeders) will be set up in each region in order to develop ways of improving their work. The relevance is to help the receiving professional, as well as the whole group, make progress through cross-discussions. Cross-border exchanges will be organised via other communication tools as well, in order to benefit from each other's experiences.

Ce projet vise à permettre aux demandeurs d'emploi de la région frontalière de devenir salariés en élevage et/ou de pérenniser les élevages de bovins régionaux, au moyen de formations adaptées. Dans un premier temps, COW FORME analysera les besoins des éleveurs, notamment en termes de compétences managériales, afin de cibler au mieux la demande. Suite à ce travail, une offre de formation pour les salariés, les employeurs et les conseillers pourra être proposée, grâce aux savoirs faire des trois régions. Un repérage des profils sans emploi, pouvant être intéressées par la formation sera mené. Enfin, des « focus-farm » (groupes d’éleveurs) seront mis en place dans chaque région afin d’élaborer des pistes d'amélioration quant à leur travail. L'intérêt est de faire progresser le professionnel qui reçoit, mais également l'ensemble du groupe, grâce à des discussions croisées. Des échanges transfrontaliers seront organisés via d’autres outils de communication aussi, afin de bénéficier des expériences de chacun.

Dit project wil via aangepaste opleidingen werkzoekenden in het grensgebied helpen om een baan te vinden in de veehouderij en/of het voortbestaan van de regionale rundveehouderijen verzekeren. In eerste instantie zal COW FORME de behoeften van de veehouders analyseren, met name op het gebied van managementvaardigheden, om de vraag zo goed mogelijk te sturen. Op basis hiervan zal men dankzij de knowhow van de drie regio's een opleidingsaanbod voor werknemers, werkgevers en adviseurs kunnen aanbieden. Er zal een profilering worden gemaakt van werkzoekenden die geïnteresseerd kunnen zijn in de opleiding. Ten slotte zullen in elke regio 'focusfarms' (groepen veehouders) worden opgericht om mogelijke verbeteringen van hun werk te bespreken. Dit moet niet alleen de ontvangende veehouder maar ook de volledige groep door middel van kruisgesprekken vooruithelpen. Er zullen bovendien grensoverschrijdende uitwisselingen via andere communicatiemiddelen worden georganiseerd om van elkaars ervaringen te profiteren.

CowForme, that is... a springboard for follow-up actions in Flanders (Inagro): • Submission of a regional project of the LEADER type - valorisation of CowForme's achievements (videos, dossiers, knowledge) ... Same objective: to help farmers in terms of labor efficiency and ergonomics on their farm and create opportunities for job seekers. • The organization 'Farmers at a Crossroads', which deals with farmers in difficulties, contacted us for an exchange moment in January. • Organization of a teaching moment at school in January. France (Idele): • Submission of a diagnostic project (CAPSAGRI) on paid agricultural labor in the context of a call for projects PIA4 Métiers d'avenir et compétence supported by the French government. Objective: to gain a better understanding of employee expectations and employers' needs. • A springboard to a second large-scale project (end of 2023) to implement actions related to the diagnosis phase. Wallonia (CRAw): • Project in preparation: "Measuring work in livestock farming for an optimized organization". Objective: improve the sustainability of agricultural holdings in Wallonia from a "work" point of view.

Expected Results (EN): 15 cross-border workers affected, taking into account working hours on dairy farms (very early to very late).

Expected Results (FR): 15 travailleurs frontaliers touchés, compte tenu des horaires de travail dans les exploitations laitières (très tôt jusqu'à très tard).

Expected Results (NL): 15 bereikte grensarbeiders, rekening houdend met de werktijden op de melkveebedrijven (zeer vroeg tot zeer laat).

Expected Outputs (EN): 361 participants in joint local employment initiatives, including farmers, job seekers, training advisers and conference participants; 1 employee training course, 1 management training course; 1 farm focus; 3 days of conferences; 1 joint training for advisers.

361 participants à des initiatives locales communes en matière d'emploi, dont des agriculteurs, des demandeurs d'emploi, des conseillers formation et des participants aux conférences; 1 formation salarié, 1 formation management; 1 focus farm; 3 journées de conférences; 1 formation conjointe pour les conseillers.

Expected Outputs (NL): 361 deelnemers aan gezamenlijke lokale werkgelegenheidsinitiatieven, waaronder boeren, werkzoekenden, opleidingsadviseurs en deelnemers aan conferenties; 1 opleiding voor werknemers, 1 opleiding voor managers; 1 focus farm; 3 conferentiedagen; 1 gezamenlijke opleiding voor adviseurs.
