Health at work is a major challenge for our society because the societal and financial impact of sickness stoppages is enormous (i.e. EUR 11 billion for France and CHF 4.5 billion for Switzerland [2013-2014]). Public institutions and companies are making considerable efforts to find solutions to prevent or minimise their impact. As part of this project, we pursue the main objective of developing with occupational health stakeholders in the fields of watch and automotive (with the eventual involvement of the hospital world) technological means to help these stakeholders prevent MSDs, musculoskeletal disorders, the major part of occupational health disorders. Our approach is based on two fundamental principles: the involvement of the operators and managers concerned and the integration of playful aspects into the prevention process through the use of Serious Games (SGs).The project is carried out by multidisciplinary Franco-Swiss teams with complementary skills relevant to the achievement of the objectives of this project. Combining academic skills and field experience, the teams are supported by automotive and watchmakers (i.e. PSA, Péhicule du Futur and Audemars Piguet) who have expressed their interest in contributing to the project’s activities.

La santé au travail est un défi majeur pour notre société car l’impact sociétal et financier des arrêts maladie est énorme (i.e. 11 milliards d’€ pour la France et 4.5 milliards de CHF pour la Suisse [2013-2014]). Des institutions publiques ainsi que des entreprises déploient des efforts considérables pour trouver des solutions afin de prévenir les arrêts maladie ou en minimiser l’impact. Dans le cadre de ce projet, nous poursuivons l’objectif principal de développer avec les parties prenantes de la santé au travail dans les domaines du monde horloger et automobile (avec la participation, à terme, de l’univers hospitalier) des moyens technologiques aidant ces parties prenantes à prévenir les TMS, troubles musculo-squelettiques, partie majeure des troubles de la santé au travail. Notre démarche est articulée autour de deux principes fondamentaux : l’implication des opérateurs et des responsables concernés et l’intégration des aspects ludiques dans le processus de prévention au travers de l’utilisation de Serious Games (SGs).Le projet est porté par des équipes franco-suisses multidisciplinaires ayant des compétences complémentaires et pertinentes pour l’atteinte des objectifs de ce projet. Combinant des compétences académiques et des expériences de terrain, les équipes sont soutenues par des industriels des domaines de l’automobile et de l’horlogerie (i.e. PSA, Pôle Véhicule du Futur et Audemars Piguet) qui ont exprimé leur intérêt à contribuer aux activités du projet.
