Description (EN): GB project aims at improving capacity and skills of businesses and third sector actors in connection to nature and tourism sectors.

Description (FI): GB hankkeen tavoitteena on parantaa yritysten ja kolmannen sektorin toimijoiden valmiuksia ja taitoja luontomatkailun alalla.

Description (RU): Проект GB нацелен на развитие потенциала и навыков бизнеса и субъектов третьего сектора в связи с природой и туризмом.

Achievements (EN):

In GB project, two Green Belt information centers have been established (in Virolahti Finland and Sovetsky Russia). Both centres are operated as an integral part of tourism services of municipalities. Content for centres usage of Green Belt zone was created, both digital and traditional. 360-virtual presentations about seven national parks/nature reserves and 15 destinations in them in Finland; new brochures for Green Belt destinations in three languages and trail information of Green Belt destinations was improved. In addition to the centres, two Green Belt pop-up info points were produced. Project disseminated widely information about Green Belt in the region, promoted cultural exchange and nature tourism and built SME-NGO networks around the theme of Green Belt. Achievements (FI):

GB hankkeessa perustettiin kaksi Green Belt infopistettä: Virolahden (Suomi) ja Johanneksen (Venäjä) kuntiin. Molemmat infopisteet jatkavat hankkeen jälkeen toimintaansa osana kuntien matkailupalveluita. Hankkeessa tuotettiin sekä virtuaalista että painettua sisältöä infopisteiden käyttöön Vihreän vyöhykkeen kohteista Suomessa: 360-videoita 7 luonnonpuistosta ja 15 kohteesta sekä esitteitä Vihreän vyöhykkeen kohteista kolmella kielellä. Myös tiedotusta Vihreän vyöhykkeen kohteista parannettiin. Infopisteiden lisäksi tuotettiin myös 2 liikuteltavaa infopistettä. Hankkeessa levitettiin laajasti tietoa Vihreästä vyöhykkeestä ohjelma-alueella, korostettiin kulttuurisen vaihdon ja luontomatkailun mahdollisuuksia ja kehitettiin yritysten ja kolmannen sektorin verkostoa Vihreän vyöhykkeen teeman ympärille. Projektin ansiosta kaksi pientä kuntaa ovat saavuttaneet kansainvälistä julkisuutta ja ovat nyt osa European Green Belt -verkostoa.
