Preservation, valorisation and touristic promotion of a unique ecclesiastical patrimony with historical value, a common trans-national cultural heritage, by establishing the first religious museum in Republic of Moldova, at Capriana Monastery and a digital exhibition at CMNM Iasi, Romania, thus increasing the number of visiting tourists in 24 months after project implementation by 20%.

Expected Results (EN):

Exchanges of information, knowledge and competences in the field of conservation and valorisation of the heritage items between CMNM specialists and the Capriana Monastery (MC) - training courses for the Capriana Monastery clergymen (8). Elaboration and distribution free of charge of an informative written material concerning the conservation and valorisation of cultural heritage (100). Developing cultural and religious tourism in the project area through the creation of the first religious museum from the Republic of Moldova at the Capriana Monastery (500). Promoting in Iasi the ecclesiastical heritage of the Capriana Monastery saved through cross-border cooperation (1000).

Expected Outputs (EN):

Exhibition "Liturgical Vestments of Saint Hierarch Gavriil (Banulescu-Bodoni) Saved by Restoration - Preservation" (5000) - The temporary exhibition of the conserved items found at the Capriana Monastery shall have the purpose of promoting the partner institution. The exhibition shall be captured on camera (photo and video).INDICATOR: number of visitors. Symposium "Save together our Common Heritage" (100) - The restoration-preservation specialists from CMNM Iasi will use video projections of all the procedures applied to the ecclesiatical reliques of Saint Hierarch Gavriil (Banulescu-Bodoni), so that everyone should know how they can be correctly preserved in order to be exhibited properly in the newly opened museum from the Capriana Monastery. The video projections shall be accompanied by presentations and spechees of the specialists from CMNM. INDICATOR: number of participants. Development of a Good Practice Guide in the field of preservation and valorisation of cultural heritage - CMNM Iasi (100) - It will provide useful information regarding the existing legislation on cultural heritage protection to both of the partners involved: fast and real solutions for conservation; practical information on preventing and limiting the effects of disasters on cultural heritage. The educational package will provide to the partner from the MC the information and educational training in the field of cultural heritage and exhibition capitalization. The Guide shall be created by the CMNM specialists. Training sessions for the Capriana Monastery staff (2) - The educational package will provide the specialists of the Republic of Moldova with the necessary informational-educational training in the field of cultural heritage, as there is currently an acute lack of specialized literature in the Republic of Moldova. Opening of the Capriana Monastery Museum (1) - The first religious museum from the Republic of Moldova, which will be created in order to promote of the unique ecclesiastic heritage from Capriana Monastery. Presentation of the project for travel agencies (20) - Travel agencies shall be a reliable partner during the project, because they will ensure that the result of our activities reaches as many people as possible, as they will promote the Capriana Monastery Museum through the inclusion of the MC in the tourist routes. Indicator: number of informed agencies from Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
