Description (EN):

The main solution proposed by the project refers mainly to electric public transportation using an electric bus. The main solution, the using of the electric power supply want to outline the advantages of the electric transportation systems against traditional vehicles powered by gas or even hybrid. Also, the proposed solution includes an automation system for the auxiliary loads, mainly, to be achieved with the aim to increase the energy efficiency of the electric bus. It is proposed a thermal model for the climatic environment of the passengers which will travel with the electric bus. This model is achieved on the basis of optimal using of the power supply and include also the renewable resources in order to build an Eco-friendly transportation solution.

Delivered Outputs (EN):

Increasing the energy efficiency of the auxiliary loads (1) - On the base of a specific automation system was developed with a properly Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), it is proposed the decreasing of the power consumption of these kind of loads. As measurement unit was used the energy consumption. Increasing the overall energy efficiency of the electric bus (1) - On the base of the specific software package, it was developed a thermal model for the indoor environment of the electric bus. As measurement unit was used the temperature variations.
