Description (EN):

The novelty of the project is the long-term preservation of the biological diversity in the Lower Prut Lower Meadow, in the conditions of increasing the quality of life of the local population to the present exigencies. The data will complement new knowledge on the impact of human factors and sudden climate change on aquatic bio-resources in the Lower Meadow Prut River. By establishing areas of economic development, of economic activities types and permissive limits for their development, the project will lead to the sustainable development of the studied area (economic, social, cultural) in harmony with the constraints imposed by the regulations on the conservation of aquatic bio-resources. Field research and experimental development (proposed through Green Economy Manual elaborated under this project) comprise creative and systematic work undertaken in order to increase the stock of knowledge.

Expected Results (EN):

PR1 - REPORT- Cross-Border Biodiversity Scientific Research Report, achieved by the end of the project (1). PR2 - STUDY - "Cross border STUDY of socio - economic potential on territory along cross-border Prut River", achieved by the end of the project (1). PR3 - Final Cross-Border Integrated Research Study named "Research on biodiversity and resource status" (1). PR4 - CROSS-BORDER MANUAL - "Green Economy as priority of sustained cross-border cooperation contributing to economic development in the Lower Meadow of Prut River", achieved by the end of the project (1).

Expected Outputs (EN):

Field Biodiversity Scientific RESEARCH ACTIVITIES on field achieved by the end of the project. (2) - - 1 Field Biodiversity Scientific Research across Romanian part of Lower Meadow Prut River; - 1 Field Biodiversity Scientific Research in Moldavian part of Lower Meadow Prut River. Field ANALYSIS - for "Cross border study of socio - economic potential on territory along cross-border Prut River", achieved by the end of the project. (2) - The both socio-economic analysis will be based on questionnaires applied on the territory. The questionnaires will be elaborated at project level by the sociologist together with the technical assistants. Cross-Border partnership improved institutional capacity - Systematized information, achieved by the end of the project. (1) - LB will concatenate "Cross-border Biodiversity Scientific research REPORT on Lower Meadow of Prut River" and "Cross-border research socio - economic potential on territory along cross-border Prut River STUDY" and will conduct the FINAL Cross-Border Integrated Research Study. In the process of elaborating the final study, LB will systematize the information from the two papers above mentioned and will continue / complete with desktop analysis to which B1 and B2 will actively contribute. Panels, achieved by the end of the project. (2) - Based on Final Cross-Border Integrated Research Study named "Research on biodiversity and resource status" lecturer, B1 and B2 will identify green economy solutions, economic conservation initiatives to improve the cross-border economy, ecosystem services and biodiversity within project area, by the end of the project. On panels project stakeholders will be interpellations involved.
