Description (EN): The project aims to foster the improvement of the existing cooperation between three cross-border area universities and to transform it into coordinated collaboration, aiming to increase the partners’ institutional capacity to build a labor force linked to the latest requirements of the automotive engineering sector, leading to an increase in the degree of tertiary education students from both sides of the border, equipped with the labor market relevant skills, in order to ensure the improvement of the graduates’ employment rate and to meet regional companies increasing needs.

Webinars on automotive engineering modern topics and trends (5) - Web-based events involving students and academic staff from the cross-border area academic consortium members, and hosting invited speakers from regional automotive industry leaders and from international academic partners of TUIasi in automotive engineering.
New equipment for the "Testing and Simulation of Propulsion Systems for Hybrid and Electric Vehicles" laboratory from TUIASI (1) - The testing and simulation of propulsion systems for hybrid and electric vehicles laboratory (TUIASI) will be upgraded by acquiring a complete set of equipment for the study of the hybrid and electric vehicles. The main proposed equipment is a dedicated laboratory kit eddy current dynamometer, allowing a broad range of new experiments regarding quality control and endurance tests, steady state and transient load tests, R&D of engines and components, and fuel and lubrication tests.
New equipment for the "Automotive Electronics" laboratory from TUIASI (1) - Upgrade of the automotive electronics laboratory (TUIASI) with a complete set of interactive experiment boards related to automotive data buses, vehicle sensors, automotive control technology and electrical machines. Two educational experiment panels for complete vehicle electric system study and automotive lighting system study and the electromagnetic compatibility laboratory kit will enable students to acquire technical skills on the overall modern vehicles electrical architecture.
New equipment for the "Automotive Electronic Equipment" laboratory from TUM (1) - The TUM "Automotive Electronic Equipment" laboratory will be equipped with teaching equipment for studying sensors and actuators used in automotive electronics, as well as various ignition commands, fuel injection, possibly ABS/ASR to study their operating algorithms. At the same time, they will study the self-diagnosis methods of automated control systems.
New equipment for the "Dedicated Electronic Systems and Applications with Microcontrollers " laboratory from TUM (1) - The dedicated electronic systems and applications with microcontrollers (TUM) laboratory will be equipped with dedicated didactic materials for studying and researching sensors and actuators used in automotive electronics, as well as various microcontroller kits for assembling new command systems and studying their operating algorithms. The focus is on embedded systems for electric and hybrid cars.
New equipment for the "Cars Diagnosing " laboratory from TUM (1) - The cars diagnosing laboratory (TUM) will be equipped with modern automated testing equipment, including teaching equipment to simulate various defects. This equipment contains also several basic electrical circuits, mounted and functioning, to enable the study of the basic concepts of electricity required in the automotive field and to familiarize students, in a flexible way, with basic electricity in general and more specifically its application in cars.
New equipment for the "Auto Transport Engineering " laboratory from UASM (1) - The new equipment of the auto transport engineering laboratory (UASM) will give students technical competences in the testing sector of automotive engineering. The engine test stand will give the possibility of obtaining various characteristics of internal combustion engines in accordance with European standards. New laboratory equipment will nclude a diagnostic stand for diesel fuel injection systems and a didactic kit for scanning, computerized diagnostics of the operating systems in cars.
New teaching equipment for the amphitheaters of the ETTI Faculty from TUIASI (1) - ETTI Faculty will upgrade the teaching and learning conditions in 3 of its amphitheatres, by integrating new teaching equipment (3 projectors and 1 web camera) compatible with the use of new technologies.
New equipment for the IT&C infrastrucure of the ETTI Faculty from TUIASI (1) - Equipment to improve the IT and communication infrastructure of the ETTI Faculty from TUIASI, in order to enforce a broader use of new technologies in the academic process. The set of IT&C networking equipment is designed to increase the speed, coverage and transfer rate of information of academic content, as well as to improve the total number of possible users of the new teaching and learning methods.
