Description (EN):

The project aims to foster the improvement of the existing cooperation between three cross-border area universities and to transform it into coordinated collaboration, aiming to increase the partners’ institutional capacity to build a labor force linked to the latest requirements of the automotive engineering sector, leading to an increase in the degree of tertiary education students from both sides of the border, equipped with the labor market relevant skills, in order to ensure the improvement of the graduates’ employment rate and to meet regional companies increasing needs.

Achievements (EN):

R 1. A regional joint educational and research strategy in the field of automotive engineering is developed (1) R 2. The number of automotive engineering academic programmes in the cross-border area is incresed (1) R 3. Increased quality of automotive engineering academic offer in the cross-border area by improving the curricular content of 15 courses (15) R 4. Increased quality of cross-border area academic infrastructure by the modernisation of 6 laboratories, 3 teaching amphitheaters, and 1 faculty IT infrastructure (10) R 5. Improved technical and soft skills for 634 students from the cross-border area (634) R 6. Improved teaching skills for 42 members of academic staff from the cross-boreder area universities (42) R 7. Improved project visibility using the Information and Communication plan (1)
