Description (EN):

The project foresees the creation of a European Centre of Skills and Resources specialising in Border Studies. This multidisciplinary scientific field centered on the theme of the frontier the societal challenges it generates, is one of the three flagship areas of the University of the Greater Region. Led by UniGR a.s.b.l. in partnership with its 6 member universities, the project aims to create the framework conditions conducive to cross-border research, accelerate exchanges and improve the mobility of researchers through the organisation of scientific seminars and stays of UniGR researchers. The teaching component provides for the development of experienced distance learning techniques within the framework of the Master Border Studies. Finally, the strengthening of the links between researchers and socio-economic actors will be favoured through the organisation of citizen forums and the contribution to the territorial development scheme of the Greater Region.

Le projet prévoit la création d’un centre européen de compétences et de ressources spécialisé dans les Border Studies. Ce domaine scientifique pluridisciplinaire centré sur le thème de la frontière les défis sociétaux qu’elle génère, constitue l’un des trois domaines-phares de l’Université de la Grande Région. Porté par l’UniGR a.s.b.l. en partenariat avec ses 6 universités membres, le projet vise à créer les conditions-cadres propices à la recherche transfrontalière, accélérer les échanges et améliorer la mobilité des chercheurs grâce à l’organisation de séminaires scientifiques et de séjours de chercheurs UniGR. Le volet « enseignement » prévoit le développement de techniques d’apprentissage à distance expérimentées dans le cadre du Master Border Studies. Enfin, le renforcement des liens entre les chercheurs et les acteurs socio-économiques sera privilégié grâce à l’organisation de forums citoyens et à la contribution au schéma de développement territorial de la Grande Région.
