Description (EN): Interdisciplinary valorization and promotion of the cultural and anthropogenic potential of the area defined by the cross-border area of the Lower Danube Euroregion Izmail (Ukraine) - Tulcea (Romania) - Galati (Romania) to enhance the attractiveness level of the area by 2023.

Expected Results (EN):

Stimulating the balanced development of the Galati-Tulcea-Ismail cross-border area as an integral part of the cultural heritage of the population of the Lower Danube Euroregion and the ethnic minorities in the localities situated at the border; Conservation and sustainable management of the cross-border cultural, ethnographic, gastronomic, viticultural and environmental heritage by creating a cross-border collection of traditions; Develop and strengthen the institutional capacity of the CJ TL (RO), as LB, and the Izmail City Council (UA), as B1, to contribute to the enhancement of cross-border cultural life and, as a matter of course, to strengthen inter-human relations through joint implementation of the project.

Expected Outputs (EN):

1 Specialized covered raft/pontoon equipment and its endowment as an Exhibition pavilion place named Collection Center of Cross-border Traditions. The equipment will be anchored by an existing anchoring/mooring infrastructure at the bank of the Danube, on the Tulcea cliff, where LB has access to the existing anchoring infrastructure; 1 Rehabilitation, modernization and endowment of Izmail Ivan Kotlearevski Local library, Izmail, Odessa Region, improved cultural and historical sites, historic Romanian building since 1944; 1 Cross-border Traditions Collection Album, achieved by the end of the project; 3 traditional collections that will define the vineyard areas of the Izmail - Tulcea - Galati area, an experience dedicated to the stories whereby the grapes turn into "gold liquid" and stand in place alongside selected archaic dishes; 1 Itinerant movie. It will surprise the works on Izmail, the endowment of CJ TL, the arrangements on the raft, how to prepare food, how we will discuss with community representatives about their history, houses, talks to museographers, how we will discover the culture and history, how the wine is revealed from vineyards, cultural potential of the cross-border area. The film will capture the important events of the project. We will see the real life of the project from the beginning to the end.
