Description (EN):

To preserve and promote the cultural and historical heritage in the cross-border Romanian-Ukrainian area, support the developing of local culture, specific cultural identities and the cultural dialog between communities of Suceava County and Ivano-Frankivsk Region, and to increase awareness of the tourists for this heritage.

Expected Results (EN):

To improve awareness of target groups and final beneficiaries about historical and cultural heritage sites and to increase the flow of tourists in the cross-border area through the creation and distribution of atractive information products (videos, virtual 3D tours, publications in English, Romanian, Ukrainian, interactive map with objects of historical and cultural heritage); To restore cultural and historical sites, enhancing the cross – border touristic potential of the eligible area. The renewed Geological museum of Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (which offers unique information and exhibits) will be promoted as a landmark and included in the list of tourist attractions. In addition, it will serve as a training-center for students from both universities.

Expected Outputs (EN):

1 modern museum, with modern lighting, ventilation and heating systems, new shelves for exhibits and new multimedia information stands; 1 website in the form of an interactive map with marked historical and cultural heritage sites, text information about landmarks, video, and 3D laser scanning data; 100 Virtual 3D tours; 1 Electronic database of historical and cultural objects; 1 Tour-operators' electronic database; 6 Brochures (each in English-Romanian and English-Ukrainian) on results of the project; 2 Flyers (in Romanian and respectively Ukrainian) on project presentation; Enchanted House (book for children), in Romanian and respectively Ukrainian.
