Description

Description (EN): To reduce epidemiological hazard in the Ivano-Frankivsk and Sighetu Marmatiei municipalities through the implementation of infection prevention activities.

Expected Results (EN):

To upgrade the sections dealing with infection diseases within the Ivano-Frankivsk Central Clinical Hospital and Sighetu Maramatiei Municipal Hospital by the end of project implementation; To improve the performance of the medical staff dealing with infection diseases within the Ivano-Frankivsk Central Clinical Hospital and Sighetu Maramatiei Municipal Hospital by the end of project implementation.

Expected Outputs (EN):

20000 patients benefiting of specialized medical equipment purchased; 92 medical staff participated in the trainings: training no.1 in Sighetu Marmatiei (20 from SM+8 from IF); training no.2 in IF (20 from IF+16 from SM); training no.3 in IF (20 from SM+8 from IF); 860 people who received new knowledge and information on the ways of infection prevention in Ivano-Frankivsk and Sighetu Marmatiei: in IF - 580 teachers and parents. In SM - 200 people in Sighet; min 80 from: Ocna Sugatag, Desesti, Campulung la Tisa, Bogdan Voda (nearby settlements). Totally for project - 860 persons.
