Description (EN): Conservation and promotion of cultural and historical heritage in the Romania-Ukraine (Bistra- Rakhiv) cross-border region by rehabilitating, on both sides of the border, two cultural monuments representative to the culture of the ethnic Hutsul.

Expected Results (EN):

Increasing cooperation capacity in the field of promoting cultural values between Romania and Ukraine, by rehabilitating two cultural monuments representative to the Hutsul culture, on both sides of the border. Raising awareness in the Romania-Ukraine cross-border region on the importance of preserving and promoting cultural and historical heritage through 8 exchange cultural events for representative ethnic Hutsul ensembles.

Expected Outputs (EN):

2 Local authorities cooperation capacity improved due to joint project development, implementation, staffing and financing in order to addresses a common problem and contribute to a joint solution in cultural and historical heritage priority in the cross-border region Bistra-Rakhiv; 2 Cultural identity and preservation of historical heritage through rehabilitation of the Memorial House Havrelo Klempus from Bistra, Romania and Burkut Amphitheater from Rakhiv, Ukraine; 80 Members of the ethnical Hutsul ensembles from Bistra (Romania) and Rakhiv (Ukraine) that will participate in exchange cultural events; 8 Exchange cultural events organized in order to promote the implementation of the project activities and rehabilitation of cultural monuments specific to the ethnic Hutsul. The joint cultural events will reflect the specific tradition of the ethnic Hutsul, similar for both communities Bistra - Rakhiv.
