Description (EN):

The project aims to promote the care path that hospitals in the French Territories of America (TFA) offer to Caribbean countries. This course responds to identified and uncovered public health needs currently in the project’s partner countries. The proposed path of care is based on new technologies in e-health and telemedicine. Through telemedicine, the TFA institutions participating in this project will be connected to health actors in partner countries. Telemedicine will make it possible to carry out remote consultations and diagnoses that will trigger the timely arrival of Caribbean patients in Martinique, Guadeloupe and Saint Martin. Telemedicine and e-health will allow the transfer of know-how from TFAs to the Caribbean and from the Caribbean to the TFAs, thus continuously improving the quality of care that will be offered as a priority to partner countries. Overall objective: Offer an attractive and competitive Caribbean healthcare offering adapted to the public health needs of partner countries and third countries. A coordinated care path for the foreign patient. A logistics platform able to manage the arrival of foreign patients in the TFAs from entry to exit of the care flow. A development of activities and new revenue for the TFA Health Establishments. A sustainable establishment of TFA health facilities in the Caribbean.

Le projet vise à promouvoir le parcours de soins que les hôpitaux des Territoires Français d’Amérique (TFA) proposent aux pays de la Caraïbe. Ce parcours répond à des besoins de santé publique identifiés et non-couverts actuellement dans les pays partenaires du projet. Le parcours de soins proposé se déploie en s’appuyant sur les nouvelles technologies relevant de l’e santé et de la télémédecine. Par le biais de la télémédecine, les établissements des TFA participant à ce projet seront connectés aux acteurs de santé des pays partenaires. La télémédecine permettra de réaliser des e consultations et des diagnostics à distance qui déclencheront au moment opportun la venue de patients caribéens en Martinique, en Guadeloupe et à Saint Martin. La télémédecine et l’e santé permettront un transfert de savoirfaire des TFA vers la Caraïbe et de la Caraïbe vers les TFA, améliorant ainsi continuellement la qualité des prises en charges qui seront proposées en priorité aux pays partenaires. Objectif global: Proposer une offre de soins Caraïbe attractive et compétitive, adaptée aux besoins de santé publique des pays partenaires et des pays tiers. Un parcours de soins coordonné du patient étranger. Une plateforme logistique en capacité de gérer l’arrivée de patients étrangers dans les TFA de l’entrée à la sortie du flux de prise en charge. Un développement des activités et de nouvelles recettes pour les Etablissements de santé des TFA. Une implantation durable des établissements de santé des TFA dans la Caraïbe.
