Description (EN):

The challenge addressed by the project is the progressive ageing of the population in rural parts of the cross-border area and the difficulty of accessing services. BERTAN proposes an improvement in the supply of resources and services that lets its inhabitants grow old with a good quality of life without them having to leave their territory. BERTAN proposes working on active ageing from an approach, involving the elderly, inhabitants of rural areas and local agents in 3 territories regarding 4 key issues: intermediate housing solutions between home and residence; modified intra-regional transport that promotes social participation; improvement of the image of the caregiver and new formulas for managing respite care; and early intervention in situations of vulnerability, through activation of the community and the use of social technology. The project will developped territorial studies and analyse innovative solutions that already exist. To this end, cross-border technical groups of joint reflection will be established; exchanges of experiences; and thematic dissemination days will be held to promote participation. All this will be articulated through the creation of a permanent Transboundary Forum as a reference for active and healthy ageing.

El reto que aborda el proyecto es el envejecimiento progresivo de la población en entornos rurales de la zona transfronteriza y la dificultad de acceso a los servicios. BERTAN propone una mejora de la oferta de recursos y servicios que permita a sus habitantes envejecer con una buena calidad de vida sin abandonar su territorio. BERTAN propone trabajar el envejecimiento activo desde un enfoque implicando a las personas mayores, habitantes de las comarcas rurales y agentes locales en 3 territorios y 4 temáticas clave: soluciones de vivienda intermedia entre el domicilio y la residencia , transporte adaptado intra-comarcal que impulse la participación social , mejora de la imagen del cuidador/a y nuevas fórmulas de gestión de sus respiros, y la intervención temprana en situaciones de vulnerabilidad, a través de la activación de la comunidad y el uso de la tecnología social. Se desarrollarán estudios territoriales y se analizarán las soluciones innovadoras que ya existan. Para ello se establecerán grupos técnicos transfronterizos de reflexión conjunta e intercambios de experiencias, y se celebrarán jornadas de difusión temáticas para impulsar la participación. Todo ello se articulará mediante la creación de un Foro Transfronterizo permanente de referencia sobre envejecimiento activo y saludable.

Le projet relève le défi du vieillissement progressif de la population dans les zones rurales de la région transfrontalière et la difficulté d’accès aux services. BERTAN propose l’amélioration des ressources et de prestation de services permettant aux habitants de vieillir en maintenant une bonne qualité de vie sans abandonner leur territoire. BERTAN propose de travailler selon une approche impliquant les personnes âgées,les habitants des zones rurales et les agents locaux sur 3 territoires et 4 thèmes centraux:les solutions de logement intermédiaires entre domicile et établissement spécialisé,un transport adapté intra-régional qui favorise la participation sociale,l'amélioration de l'image d'aidants professionnels et de nouvelles formules de gestion des RH , et une intervention précoce dans des situations de vulnérabilité, par l'activation de la communauté et l’utilisation de la technologie sociale. Des études territoriales seront développées et les solutions innovantes déjà existantes seront analysées. Des groupes techniques transfrontaliers de réflexion conjointe seront établis et des échanges d'expériences seront organisés. Des journées de diffusion thématique seront organisées pour promouvoir la participation. Tout cela sera axé autour de la création d’un forum transfrontalier permanent de référence sur le vieillissement actif et en bonne santé.
