El reto de CORE es abordar la transformación digital del comercio de los territorios socios llevando a cabo una digitalización personalizada, escalable y mentorizada que atienda a los diferentes grados de madurez tecnológica de las pymes de comercio. El objetivo general es contribuir a la innovación y competitividad de las pymes de comercio del espacio POCTEFA a través de la cooperación entre este sector empresarial y entidades especialistas en I+D+i. A la finalización del proyecto se espera que parte del sector comercial de los territorios socios se encuentre inmerso en un proceso de transformación digital útil que le haga más competitivo. Entre los territorios socios y entre estos y el resto del espacio de cooperación hay flujos comerciales significativos que la cooperación transfronteriza permitiría ver en conjunto. Además, en Francia el surgimiento y evolución de los centros comerciales es más temprano que en España, pudiendo la cooperación proveer intercambios de información valiosa. Asimismo, las soluciones Big Data se nutren del volumen y diversidad de datos, algo que la cooperación permite obtener. Apuntar como novedades la estrategia de digitalización “útil” del sector, así como el hecho de que el proyecto promueve el trabajo transfronterizo en un sector tradicionalmente localista como el comercio.

Description (EN):

The aim of the CORE project is to address the digital transformation of the retail sector in partner territories by carrying out a tailored, scalable and mentored digitalization that will observe the different degrees of technological maturity of retail SMEs. Thus, the general objective of the project is to contribute to innovation and competitiveness in retail SMEs in POCTEFA space, through cooperation between this sector and entities specialized in R+D+i. It is expected that upon completion of the project, a relevant part of the retail sector in the partner territories will be immersed in a process of useful digital transformation, making retail SMEs more competitive. Among the partner territories, as well as among them and the rest of the space of cooperation, there are commercial flows that cross-border cooperation would enable to approach jointly. Also, the emergence and evolution of shopping centres in France took place earlier than in Spain, thus cooperation enabling valuable exchanges of information. In addition, Big Data solutions are nourished by the volume and diversity of data, something cooperation enables. As novelties, to remark the approach consisting of a “useful” digitalisation strategy and the fact of retail sector, traditionally local, working in cross-border cooperation.

Le défi de CORE est d'aborder la transformation numérique des commerces des territoires partenaires en les accompagnant dans les processus de numérisation personnalisé et échelonnable en fonction de leur maturité technologique. L’objectif général est de participer à l’innovation et à la compétitivité des TPE-PME commerciales de l’espace POCTEFA,au travers de la coopération entre ce secteur entrepreneurial et des organismes spécialisés en RDI. A la fin du projet, nous espérons qu’une partie du secteur commercial des territoires partenaires participe à un processus utile de transformation numérique qui le rende plus compétitif. Entre les territoires partenaires, et entre eux et le reste de l’espace de coopération, il y a des échanges commerciaux significatifs qui seraient plus visibles grâce à la coopération transfrontalière. De plus, la naissance et l’évolution des centres commerciaux s’est faite en France bien plus tôt qu’en Espagne, ce qui constitue une précieuse base d’échange d’informations. De même,les solutions Big Data se nourrissent du volume et de la diversité des données,condition plus atteignable grâce à la coopération. Comme nouveauté nous soulignons la stratégie de numérisation «utile»du secteur,et le fait que ce projet promeut le travail transfrontalier dans un secteur traditionnellement local.

Resultados finales del Proyecto CORE: El lunes 23 de mayo de 2022, ESTIA Entreprendre presentó los resultados del proyecto CORE a los socios del proyecto, a través de una videoconferencia. En esta ocasión, pudieron compartir las conclusiones del trabajo realizado en los dos últimos años para apoyar la transformación digital de los comercios minoristas, tanto gracias a la plataforma de autodiagnóstico de madurez digital, como a los itinerarios personalizados de transformación digital. Cuestionario de autodiagnóstico de madurez digital: Un total de 632 comerciantes de los distintos territorios (Aragón, Cataluña, Navarra, Nueva Aquitania, Occitania y la Comunidad Autónoma del País Vasco) han realizado el cuestionario de autodiagnóstico en línea (169 en Francia y 463 en España) disponible a través de la página web www.interreg-core.eu. En general, se pueden observar ciertas tendencias en la tipología de las empresas que utilizaron la plataforma de autodiagnóstico de madurez digital: Son principalmente estructuras pequeñas, con un solo establecimiento (87%). El 47 % de los comerciantes españoles y el 22 % de los franceses llevan más de 20 años en el mercado. Sólo una persona trabaja en el negocio en 52 % de los comercios en Francia y en 46% en España. El 38% de las empresas tienen de 2 a 5 trabajadores en Francia y el 42% en España. El 42% de los comercios participantes en España y el 26% en Francia tienen un volumen de negocio inferior a 100.000 euros, mientras que el 38% en Francia y el 31% en España tienen un volumen de negocio entre 100.000 y 500.000 euros. La edad media de los comerciantes es de 47 años. La mitad de los comercios están situados en el centro de las ciudades. El grado de madurez digital es similar en Francia y en España (puntuación media de 42,3/100 en Francia y 37,3/100 en España), lo que demuestra que el trabajo de transformación digital con este colectivo es totalmente pertinente. En cuanto a las estrategias de comunicación, una gran mayoría (el 88% en Francia y el 80% en España) de los comerciantes comunican con sus clientes y prospectos a través de las redes sociales, siendo Facebook e Instagram las plataformas más utilizadas. Una diferencia notable es que WhatsApp Business, una herramienta tradicionalmente utilizada por los comerciantes españoles, no se usa prácticamente en Francia. Se trata de un verdadero eje de desarrollo para los comercios franceses, que pueden beneficiarse de la experiencia de sus homólogos españoles. A menudo es el propio comerciante o un empleado de la empresa quien se encarga de actualizar las redes sociales, la página web o la de comercio electrónico, y rara vez, un proveedor de servicios externo. Si el comerciante no publica con regularidad en redes sociales y no tiene una página web o de comercio electrónico, se debe principalmente a la falta de tiempo y de conocimientos. Respecto a la relación con los clientes, los comerciantes tienen pendiente crear bases de datos de clientes periódicamente actualizadas: frente a los 63% de los comercios franceses, sólo lo realiza el 37% de los españoles. Del mismo modo, tanto en Francia como en España, la implantación de plataformas de gestión de relación cliente, de herramientas de e-mailing o de programas de fidelización está aún por desarrollar. Aunque la mayoría de los comerciantes responden a los comentarios de clientes online, parece necesario desarrollar herramientas de seguimiento para medir su reputación en Internet. La transformación digital de la empresa está a menudo en marcha, en ambos países (programas de caja, desmaterialización de la facturación y de las relaciones con los proveedores, seguimiento de los indicadores clave de rendimiento y digitalización del punto de venta, en particular), pero convendría más acompañamiento y apoyo, en los distintos territorios. Por último, aunque las cuestiones de seguridad y confidencialidad de datos son cada vez más importantes para los comerciantes, la protección de datos personales de los clientes, el almacenamiento de estos datos y el cumplimiento del Reglamento General de Protección de Datos (RGPD) aún deben de mejorarse. Itinerarios personalizados de transformación digital. Un total de 333 empresas recibieron acompañamiento individual de los distintos socios del proyecto: 47 por el Ayuntamiento de Pamplona, 70 por la CCI Pau, 50 por la Federación Mercantil de Gipuzkoa, 61 por AENKOMER, 9 por la CCA Teruel, 45 por la CCI Toulouse, 24 por el Ayuntamiento de Toulouse y 27 por el Ayuntamiento de Barcelona. Aunque los comerciantes no hayan utilizado suficientemente la plataforma de colaboración abierta (principalmente por falta de tiempo), los socios han recomendado e implementado muchas herramientas y plataformas: creación de perfiles en Google My Business, creación o mejoría de perfiles en las redes sociales (principalmente Facebook e Instagram), uso o migración a WhatsApp Business, creación o mejoría de la página web del comercio (utilizando plataformas como WordPress o Wix), implementación de herramientas de e-mailing (Sendinblue, Mailchimp), la puesta en marcha de campañas de publicidad online con Facebook Ads/Instagram Ads o Google Ads. Los socios no han ahondado en la creación de páginas de comercio electrónico ni con la puesta en marcha de una estrategia de venta en línea a través de un marketplace: la digitalización de las empresas requiere proceder por etapas, y las acciones mencionadas anteriormente parecen ser un requisito previo antes de ir más allá y vender online. La encuesta realizada entre los comerciantes tras el acompañamiento individual reflejó el impacto positivo del proyecto CORE en la comunicación y las ventas en línea, la relación cliente, la transformación digital de la empresa y la protección de datos. Del mismo modo, los socios del proyecto destacaron el interés de este proceso de transformación digital para los comerciantes, ya que les permite comprender mejor el interés y los retos de la digitalización para su negocio, con el fin de poder satisfacer mejor las expectativas de sus clientes, cada vez más conectados.

Final results of the CORE Project: On Monday, May 23, 2022, ESTIA Entreprendre presented the results of the CORE project to the project partners, through a video conference. On this occasion, they were able to share the conclusions of the work done in the last two years to support the digital transformation of retailers, both thanks to the digital maturity self-diagnosis platform, as well as the personalised digital transformation itineraries. Digital maturity self-diagnosis questionnaire: A total of 632 traders from the different territories (Aragon, Catalonia, Navarra, New Aquitaine, Occitania and the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country) have made the online self-diagnosis questionnaire (169 in France and 463 in Spain) available through the website www.interreg-core.eu. This is a real axis of development for French businesses, who can benefit from the experience of their Spanish counterparts. If the merchant does not post regularly on social media and does not have a website or e-commerce, it is mainly due to lack of time and knowledge. Regarding the relationship with customers, merchants have pending to create periodically updated customer databases: compared to 63 % of French shops, only 37 % of Spaniards do so. Similarly, both in France and Spain, the implementation of customer relationship management platforms, e-mailing tools or loyalty programs is yet to be developed. The digital transformation of the company is often underway, in both countries (cash programmes, dematerialisation of invoicing and supplier relations, monitoring of key performance indicators and digitisation of the point of sale, in particular), but more support and support in the different territories would be desirable. Finally, although issues of data security and confidentiality are increasingly important for merchants, the protection of customers’ personal data, the storage of this data and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) still need to be improved. The survey carried out among the merchants after the individual accompaniment reflected the positive impact of the CORE project on communication and online sales, customer relationship, digital transformation of the company and data protection. Similarly, the project partners highlighted the interest of this digital transformation process for merchants, as it allows them to better understand the interest and challenges of digitisation for their business, in order to better meet the expectations of their increasingly connected customers.
