Description (EN):

France and Spain are sharing a 656 km border, delimited by the mountainous chain of the Pyrenees. This geographical situation makes difficult terrestrial communication between these two countries and limits the access to emergency care for population. In order to face this issue, the project proposes to create an operational network of cross-border cooperation in emergency medicine and disaster. It will aim to reduce the inequalities of access to emergency care both in remote areas and at scene of accidents. In order to remove the administrative and legal barriers between the border territories, bilateral agreements will be signed thanks to the pilot project EMS, carried out by the CTP. Common patient care procedures will be elaborated through interoperability between health information systems and a common training will be provided. Innovative tools will also be developed and deployed in disaster situations or on prudential frameworks with all the partners involved. The cooperation developed in this project aims to bring a concrete and direct benefit to the citizen, allowing him to enjoy quality care closer to his place of residence.

Francia y España comparten 656 km de frontera delimitada por la sierra de los Pirineos. Esta situación geográfica dificulta la comunicación terrestre entre los 2 países y puede limitar el acceso a la asistencia en casos de emergencia para las poblaciones. Para abordar este problema, el proyecto propone crear una red operativa de cooperación transfronteriza en medicina de emergencia y catástrofes. El objetivo será reducir las desigualdades de acceso a la asistencia en casos de emergencia tanto en áreas remotas como en el lugar de los accidentes. Para eliminar las barreras administrativas y legales entre los territorios fronterizos, se firmarán acuerdos bilaterales gracias al proyecto piloto EMS, realizado por la CMT (Comunidad de Trabajo de los Pirineos). Se establecerán procedimientos comunes de atención al paciente con interoperabilidad entre los sistemas de información sanitaria y se brindará formación común. También se desarrollarán herramientas innovadoras y se desplegarán en situaciones de catástrofe o en medidas prudenciales con todos los socios involucrados. Las cooperaciones desarrolladas en este proyecto están encaminadas a aportar un beneficio concreto y directo al ciudadano, permitiéndole disfrutar de una asistencia de calidad más cercana a su lugar de residencia.

La France et l'Espagne partagent 656 km de frontière délimitée par la chaîne montagneuse des Pyrénées. Cette situation géographique rend la communication terrestre difficile entre les 2 pays et peut limiter l'accès aux soins d'urgence pour les populations. Pour répondre à cette problématique, le projet propose de créer un réseau opérationnel de coopération transfrontalière en médecine d'urgence et de catastrophe. Il aura pour objectif de réduire les inégalités d'accès aux soins d'urgence tant en territoires isolés que sur le lieux des accidents. Afin de lever les barrières administratives et juridiques entre les territoires frontaliers, des accords bilatéraux vont être signés grâce au projet pilote EMS, porté par la CTP. Des procédures communes de prise en charge des patients seront mises en place avec une interopérabilité entre les systèmes d'information de santé et des formations communes seront dispensées. Des outils innovants seront également développés et déployés en exercice de catastrophe ou sur des dispositifs prudentiels avec l'ensemble des partenaires impliqués. Les coopérations développées dans ce projet visent à apporter un bénéfice concret et direct au citoyen, en lui permettant de profiter de soins de qualité au plus près de son lieu de résidence.
