Il progetto intende contribuire al settore dell'agricoltura e dell'acquacoltura, soprattutto nelle aree interne della Sicilia e della Tunisia, offrendo un impulso all'innovazione di processo e di prodotto. Prevede la realizzazione di un sistema, una Vital Cell, in grado di combinare la produzione di piante e animali acquatici in un unico ciclo ecologicamente sostenibile e garantito, caratterizzato da un basso costo, dal non confliggere con altri mercati già saturi, dal fornire materiale genetico di qualità a km 0.

Description (EN):

The project intends to contribute to the agriculture and aquaculture sector, especially in the inland areas of Sicily and Tunisia, by boosting process and product innovation. It foresees the realization of a system, a Vital Cell, able to combine the production of aquatic plants and animals in a single ecologically sustainable and guaranteed cycle, characterized by a low cost, by not conflict with other saturated markets, by providing quality genetic material at km 0.

Le projet entende apporter une contribution au secteur de l’agriculture et de l’aquaculture, en particulier dans les zones intérieurs des territoires siciliens et tunisien, en offrant une impulsion axé sur l’innovation de processus et de produits. Le projet prévoit la réalisation d’un système, une Cellule Vitale, capable de combiner la production des plantes et d’animaux aquatiques dans un cycle unique éco- durable et garanti, caractérise par un faible cout, par le fait de ne pas entrer en conflit avec d’autres marchés déjà satures, en fournissant de matériel génétique de qualité a km 0.

Expected Results (IT):

Realizzazione di due impianti pilota in grado di fornire piante e allevamenti selezionati con elevati standard qualitativi; realizzazione di due contenitori per la produzione di piante (piantine) e animali (avannotti) in sistemi idroponici e acquaponici; creazione di una rete sostenibile di collaborazione tra gli enti di ricerca operanti in Sicilia e Tunisia

Expected Results (EN):

Construction of two pilot plants capable of supplying plants and selected alevins/ fry, with high quality standards; Construction of 2 containers for plant (seedlings) and animal (alevins) production in hydroponic and aquaponic systems; Creation of a sustainable network of collaboration between the research organisations operating in Sicily and Tunisia

Expected Results (FR):

Réalisation de deux installations pilote capables de fournir des plantes et des alevins/larves sélectionnes, avec des normes de qualité élevées ; Construction de 2 conteneurs pour la production végétale (plants) et animale (alevins) en système hydroponique et aquaponique ; Création de un réseau durable de collaboration entre les organismes de recherche opérant en Sicilie et en Tunisie.

Expected Outputs (IT):

sondaggio online tramite la piattaforma creata dal progetto; pubblicazione sullo stato attuale dell'acquaponica; workshop tecnico di 4 giorni; studio sulla fattibilità socio-economica e sull'elaborazione del modello tecnico da utilizzare in ogni Paese; costruzione della cella vitale (progettazione tecnica, progetto esecutivo, analisi delle migliori tecnologie disponibili, preparazione di 1 sito per la costruzione, montaggio, ecc.); costruzione di due eco-box farm container in cui installare un sistema idroponico verticale a ciclo chiuso; test sugli impianti idrici ed elettrici e sulla valutazione del funzionamento della cella; trasferimento della cella in un nuovo sito;; trasferimento della Cella Vitale in Tunisia; realizzazione di video esplicativi; 3 protocolli d'intesa per sperimentare nuove soluzioni tecnologiche e mettere i risultati a disposizione delle amministrazioni locali; 6 accordi commerciali tra i beneficiari finali e mense pubbliche (scuole, ospedali, ecc.) e private (umanitarie, sanitarie, ecc.); seminari di formazione per i formatori sulla costruzione e l'uso della cella e sulla selezione dei discenti

Expected Outputs (EN):

1 Online survey via 1 platform created by the project; 1 Publication on the state-of-the-art in aquaponics; 1 4-day technical workshop; 1 Study on the socio-economic feasibility and elaboration of the technical model to be used in each country; Construction of the Vital Cell (technical design, executive project, analysis of best available technologies, preparation of 1 site for construction, installation etc.); Construction of two eco-box farm containers wherein to install a vertical closed-cycle hydroponic system; Testing of water and electricity installations and 1 test for the evaluation of the functioning of the cell; Transfer of the cell to a new site; and ); Construction of two eco-box farm containers in which to install a vertical closed-cycle hydroponic system; Testing of the water and electricity installations and 1 test to evaluate the functioning of the cell; Transfer of the Vital Cell to Tunisia; Creation of explanatory videos on the technological cell; 3 memoranda of understanding to test new technological solutions and to make the results available to local administrations; 6 commercial agreements between the final beneficiaries and public (schools, hospitals, etc.) and private (humanitarian, health, etc.) canteens. Training seminars for trainers on the construction and use of the cell and selection of learners

1 Enquête en ligne via 1 plateforme qui sera créé par le projet ; 1 Publication sur la situation actuelle en aquaponie ; 1 atelier technique des 4 jours ; 1 Etude sur la faisabilité socio-économique et élaboration du modèle technique à utiliser dans chaque pays ; Construction de la Cellule Vitale (conception technique, projet exécutif, analyse des meilleures technologies disponibles, préparation d’1 site pour la construction, assemblage etc.) ; Construction de deux containers éco-box farm dans lesquels installer un système hydroponique verticale à cycle fermé ; Test sur les installations hydriques et d’électricité et 1 testing pour l’évaluation du fonctionnement de la cellule ; Transfer de la cellule vitale en Tunisie ; Création de vidéos explicatives sur la cellule technologique ; 3 protocoles d’accord pour expérimenter de nouvelles solutions technologies et mettre les résultats à la disposition des administrations locales ; 6 accords commerciaux entre les bénéficiaires finaux et les cantines publiques (écoles, hôpitaux etc.) et privées (humanitaires, d’entreprises…) ; Séminaires de formation de formateurs sur la construction et utilise de la cellule et sélection des apprenants
