Description (EN): The joint project is a response to the identified problem of unequal access to high quality medical services in the field of diagnostics and treatment of cardiovascular diseases and COVID-19 thread in the PL-LT borderland. It includes the implementation of complementary broad activities whose complexity and multilevel structure (improvement of expertise, medical infrastructure, raising of public awareness) should be considered as an added value the cross border effect.
The project is addressed to population with unmet healthcare needs, including those at risk of poverty and social exclusion, and includes measures to improve the quality of infrastructure, training of medical personnel, information actions, as well as management, information and promotion, conferences and closing activities. The main objective of the project is to develop cooperation between healthcare institutions from the PL-LT borderland in order to equal opportunities in access to improved health services in CV diseases and fight COVID-19 pandemic, and thus improve the quality of life in this region.
The main project "Response to COVID-19 implications with a focus on cardiovascular system" expected results: 180 participants of joint trainings and events, 1 renovated ward, 38 pieces of purchased modern medical equipment, 5 training sessions, 2 educational-informational campaigns.
Read more Description (PL): Wspólny projekt jest odpowiedzią na zidentyfikowany problem nierównego dostępu do wysokiej jakości usług medycznych w zakresie diagnostyki i leczenia chorób układu krążenia oraz wątku COVID-19 na pograniczu PL-LT. Obejmuje on realizację komplementarnych, szerokich działań, których kompleksowość i wielopoziomową strukturę (podnoszenie kompetencji, infrastruktura medyczna, podnoszenie świadomości społecznej) należy uznać za wartość dodaną efektu transgranicznego.
Projekt skierowany jest do populacji o niezaspokojonych potrzebach zdrowotnych, w tym zagrożonych ubóstwem i wykluczeniem społecznym i obejmuje działania na rzecz poprawy jakości infrastruktury, szkolenia personelu medycznego, działania informacyjne, a także działania zarządcze, informacyjne i promocyjne, konferencje i działania zamykające. Głównym celem projektu jest rozwój współpracy pomiędzy placówkami służby zdrowia z pogranicza PL-LT w celu wyrównania szans w dostępie do ulepszonych usług zdrowotnych w zakresie chorób układu krążenia i zwalczania pandemii COVID-19, a tym samym poprawy jakości życia w tym regionie.
Projekt główny "Odpowiedź na implikacje COVID-19 ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem układu sercowo-naczyniowego" oczekiwane rezultaty: 180 uczestników wspólnych szkoleń i wydarzeń, 1 wyremontowany oddział, 38 sztuk zakupionego nowoczesnego sprzętu medycznego, 5 szkoleń, 2 kampanie edukacyjno-informacyjne.
Read more Description (LT): Bendras projekto „Atsakas COVID-19 padariniams, sutelkiant dėmesį į širdies ir kraujagyslių sistemą“ tikslas yra atsakas į nevienodą galimybę naudotis aukštos kokybės medicinos paslaugomis širdies ir kraujagyslių ligų diagnostikos ir gydymo bei COVID-19 gijų srityje Lietuvos-Lenkijos pasienyje. Šis projektas apima platų spektrą veiklų, kurių kompleksiškumas ir daugiapakopė struktūra (patirties didinimas, medicinos infrastruktūros tobulinimas, visuomenės sąmoningumo auginimas) turėtų būti laikoma pridėtine verte – bendradarbiavimo abipus sienos efektu.
Projektas skirtas gyventojams, kurių sveikatos priežiūros poreikiai nepatenkinti, įskaitant tuos, kuriem susiduria su skurdo ar socialinės atskirties rizikomis. Taip pat šis projektas apima priemones infrastruktūros kokybei gerinti, medicinos personalo mokymą, informavimo veiksmus, motyvacijos stovyklas, konferencijas ir projekto uždarymo veiklas. Pagrindinis projekto tikslas yra plėtoti PL-LT pasienio sveikatos priežiūros įstaigų bendradarbiavimą, siekiant vienodų galimybių naudotis geresnėmis sveikatos priežiūros paslaugomis šlapimo takų ligų srityje atsižvelgiant į pandeminę COVID-19 padėtį ir taip pagerinant gyvenimo kokybę šiame regione.
Laukiami pagrindiniai projekto rezultatai: 180 bendrų mokymų ir renginių dalyvių, 1 atnaujinta palata, 38 vienetai įsigytos modernios medicinos įrangos, 5 mokymai, 2 edukacinės-informacinės kampanijos.
Read more Achievements (EN): During the project implementation period, the premises of Internal Diseases, Cardiology, Hypertension and Endocrinology Ward have been renovated. As well, 38 pieces of medical equipment were purchased which will significantly improve the quality and effectiveness of diagnostics and treatment of CVD in the light of COVID-19 pandemic situation. Partners organised some joint trainings within the framework of the project.
