The constantly growing region with the capitals of Bratislava and Vienna is characterised by urban character and thus represents a dynamic economic area with diverse employment opportunities. On the other hand, the region is also rich in nature (protected) areas. The linguistic and cultural diversity that characterises this region is an important factor for the development and competitiveness and attractiveness of this particular habitat. In this context, bilingualism means additional added value for the whole region and it is necessary to exploit this existing potential. Language and cultural skills are crucial for the “employability” of future young adults. In addition, scientific, technical and digital skills are a priority in the educational landscape of both countries. For this reason, the present project of language acquisition (neighbour languages/multilingualism) expands with offers for researching, discovering and moving learning with a focus on the digital, scientific and technical fields and puts them in the context of education for sustainable development. Another innovative approach is that the regional potentials (e.g. nature reserves, farms) are discovered as learning sites and used as a resource in everyday education.

Die stetig wachsende Region mit den Hauptstädten Bratislava und Wien ist einerseits durch städtischen Charakter geprägt, und stellt so einen dynamischen Wirtschaftsraum mit vielfältigen Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten dar. Auf der anderen Seite ist die Region auch reich an Natur(Schutz)gebieten. Die sprachliche und kulturelle Vielfalt, die diese Region auszeichnet, stellt einen wichtigen u.a. arbeitsmarktrelevanten Faktor für die Entwicklung sowie für die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und Attraktivität dieses speziellen Lebensraumes dar. In diesem Zusammenhang bedeutet die Zweisprachigkeit einen zusätzlichen Mehrwert für die gesamte Region, und es gilt, dieses vorhandene Potenzial auszuschöpfen. Die Sprach- und Kulturkenntnisse sind ausschlaggebend für „Employability“ (Beschäftigungsfähigkeit) von künftigen jungen Erwachsenen. Zudem haben naturwissenschaftliche, technische und digitale Kompetenzen in der Bildungslandschaft beider Länder Priorität. Aus diesem Grund wird im gegenständlichen Projekt der Sprachenerwerb (Nachbarsprachen/Mehrsprachigkeit) mit Angeboten zum forschenden, entdeckenden und bewegten Lernen mit Fokus auf den digitalen, naturwissenschaftlichen und technischen Fachbereich erweitert und in den Kontext der Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung gesetzt. Ein weiterer innovativer Ansatz ist, dass die regionalen Potentiale (z.B. Naturschutzgebiete, Betriebe) als Lernorte entdeckt und als Ressource im pädagogischen Alltag genutzt werden.

Neustále rastúci región s hlavnými mestami Bratislavou a Viedňou predstavuje dynamický hospodársky priestor s rôznorodými možnosťami zamestnanosti. Tento región má mestský charakter na jednej strane, na druhej strane je tvorený bohatými (chránenými) krajinnými oblasťami. Jazyková a kultúrna rozmanitosť, ktorou sa tento región vyznačuje, predstavuje dôležitý, okrem iného aj pre pracovný trh, relevantný faktor, ovplyvňujúci rozvoj, konkurencieschopnosť a atraktivitu tohto špecifického životného priestoru. Jazykové a kultúrne znalosti sú rozhodujúce pre zamestnanosť budúcich mladých dospelých ľudí. Súčasne sú v oboch krajinách pre sektor vzdelávania prioritou kompetencie v oblasti prírodných vied, techniky a digitalizácie. Z tohto dôvodu je v súčasnom projekte získavanie jazykových znalostí (jazykov suseda/viacjazyčnosti) rozšírené o ponuku aktivít zameraných na objavovanie a využívanie pohybových činností v učebných procesoch zacielených na digitálnu oblasť, oblasť prírodných vied a techniky. Ďalším inovatívnym prínosom je využitie regionálnych potenciálov (napr. chránených krajinných území, podnikov), ktoré budú v rámci projektu predstavené ako miesta výučby a zapojené do každodennej pedagogickej praxe ako zdroj nových vedomostí a znalostí. Na zabezpečenie úspešnej implementácie inovatívnych vzdelávacích prístupov k bilingvalite v jednotlivých vzdelávacích inštitúciách, sa v rámci kooperácie v oblasti vzdelávania v pohraničnom regióne vypracuje trvalo udržateľný koncept bilingválneho vzdelávania.

Expected Results (DE):

Vor allem für Kinder, die zwei- und mehrsprachig aufwachsen, bedeutet gezielt geförderte institutionelle Mehrsprachigkeit einen unbedingten Vorteil hinsichtlich ihrer künftigen Beschäftigungsfähigkeit und zunehmenden internationalen Mobilität. Pädagogische Fachkräfte werden für den Ansatz des forschenden/bewegten Lernens in Zusammenhang mit der gesamtsprachlichen Bildungsarbeit qualifiziert, wirken als Multiplikator*innen und bringen die Inhalte in den pädagogischen Alltag ein. Die erstellte gü. Materialiensammlung mit digitalen Formaten und das Konzept für bilinguale Bildung in der Grenzregion und Ballungszentren stehen ihnen zur Verfügung und können somit dauerhaft genutzt werden. Indem die päd. Aus- bzw. Fortbildungseinrichtungen in den Gesamtverlauf eingebunden werden und sich an den gü. Fortbildungsmaßnahmen beteiligen wird eine Implementierung in die jeweiligen Bildungssysteme ermöglicht. Die allgemeine Öffentlichkeit wird durch die Gastvorträge und audiovisuelle Wanderausstellung für den Mehrwert der bilingualen Gesellschaft in der Grenzregion und Ballungszentren sensibilisiert und durch die Nutzung der interaktiven Karte die regionalen Potenziale kennenzulernen. Die Entscheidungsträger aus Verwaltung und Politik werden im Rahmen verschiedener projektbezogener Veranstaltungen über die Entwicklungen informiert und ihnen stehen folgende Produkte zur Verfügung: Konzept für bilinguale Bildung in der Grenzregion und Ballungszentren, Wanderausstellung und Ergebnisse der Wissensbilanz. Die Projektpartner /strategischen Projektpartner tragen auf nationaler und auf europäischer Ebene wesentlich zur Verbreitung dieser Ergebnisse bei.

Expected Results (SK):

Deťom, ktoré vyrastajú v dvoj alebo viacjazyčnom prostredí prinesie cielená podpora viacjazyčného vzdelávania rozhodujúcu výhodu pre ich budúci pracovný život a medzinárodnú mobilitu. Pedagogickí zamestnanci absolvujú školenia, zamerané na prístup, ktorý využíva bádateľské a pohybové aktivity a zapája rôzne jazyky. Pôsobia ako multiplikátori a pomáhajú pri zavádzaní jednotlivých obsahov do pedagogickej praxe. Zároveň majú k dispozícii cezhraničnú zbierku vytvorených didaktických materiálov a digitálnych formátov a koncepciu bilingválneho vzdelávania v pohraničí a širšom okolí hlavných miest, ktoré môžu využívať aj po skončení projektu. Zapojenie inštitúcií pre vzdelávanie a ďalšie vzdelávanie pedagógov do projektu prostredníctvom spolupráce a vzdelávacích aktivít umožní implementáciu obsahov do ich vzdelávacích programov. Široká verejnosť je prostredníctvom prednášok hosťujúceho experta a audiovizuálnej putovnej výstavy informovaná o pridanej hodnote bilingválnej spoločnosti v pohraničí a širšom okolí hlavných miest. Používaním interaktívnej mapy súčasne spoznáva regionálne potenciály projektového územia. Predstavitelia regionálnych a miestnych orgánov - štátnej a verejnej správy sú prostredníctvom rôznych projektových podujatí informovaní o priebehu projektu a majú k dispozícii tieto produkty pre ďalšie využitie: koncepciu bilingválneho vzdelávania v pohraničí a širšom okolí hlavných miest, audiovizuálnu putovnú výstavu a výsledky bilancie vytvorených intelektuálnych hodnôt. Projektoví/strategickí partneri prispievajú ku šíreniu výsledkov projektu na národnej aj medzinárodnej úrovni.
