Description (EN):

The PERCIPONIE project will enable the structuring of a new cross-border cooperation network in the field of research, development and innovation. It will focus on the development of a new form of agriculture in urban and peri-urban areas (short circuits), aquaponics that combines vegetable production in hydroponics with fish production. The aim is to promote a new, more sustainable form of agriculture (waste recycling, development of agro-ecological approaches) ensuring the production of healthy food (zero pesticides). Our project is based on a consortium of partners with highly complementary skills and know-how on a cross-border scale. The results of this project will benefit the leaders of projects for the creation of aquaponic farms (farmers, local authorities, large private groups...), schools and students and the scientific community (of the Greater Region).

Description (FR):

Le projet PERCIPONIE va permettre la structuration d’un nouveau réseau de coopération transfrontalière dans le domaine de la recherche, du développement et de l’innovation. Il sera focalisé sur le développement d’une nouvelle forme d’agriculture en milieu urbain et périurbain (circuits courts), l’aquaponie qui associe la production de légumes en hydroponie et la production de poissons. Il s’agit de promouvoir une nouvelle forme d’agriculture plus durable (recyclage des déchets, développement d’approches agro-écologiques) garantissant la production de denrées alimentaires saines (zéro pesticides). Notre projet s’appuie sur un consortium de partenaires aux compétences et savoir-faire très complémentaires à l’échelle transfrontalière. Les résultats de ce projet bénéficieront aux porteurs de projets de création de fermes aquaponiques (agriculteurs, collectivités territoriales, grands groupes privés …), aux scolaires et étudiants et à la communauté scientifique (de la Grande Région).

Achievements (EN):

Results: The project made it possible to pool the competencies of the scientific and industrial partners in the greater region and to make the results available to all organizations active in biogas production. It was successfully built: a mobile pilot plant for fermentation processing and a mobile H2 pilot plant. It has been proven: The feasibility of microalgae cultures on digestate fractions, the positive effect of digestate-based fertilization on agronomic performance and its contribution to improving water quality. The following are available: reports on scientific, technical and financial instruments and a brochure with the main results.
