In the course of preliminary projects and the high demand of the local population as well as the tourist. Stakeholders have now also thought about cross-border cooperation between TVB Kufsteinerland and the municipality of Bayrischzell as well as the municipality of Thiersee. First talks and ascents were started regarding a cross-border cross-country skiing connection between Thiersee/Landl and Bayrischzell. Through this new cross-country trail section, the nature between Bavaria and Tyrol can also be explored on cross-country skiing. Furthermore, the connection leads to a 62 km cross-country network around the village of Bayrischzell.Thiersee, currently perceived more than a summer destination, has little winter infrastructure and due to the topographer. For the Thierseetal there is also the possibility to join the cross-country skiing regions of Tyrol. In 2019, a cross-border bus line between Schliersee and Kufstein was launched. The project focuses on public transport, dismantling of passenger cars and resource-saving accessibility of the unique natural heritage: Leitzachtal — Origin Pass — Thiersee/Landl.

Im Zuge von Vorprojekten u. der großen Nachfrage der heimischen Bevölkerung sowie der tourist. Stakeholder haben der TVB Kufsteinerland u. die Gemeinde Bayrischzell sowie die Gemeinde Thiersee sich nun auch im Bereich Winterangebote Gedanken über eine grenzüberschreitende Zusammenarbeit gemacht. So startete man erste Gespräche und Begehungen in Bezug auf einen grenzüberschreitenden Loipenanschluss zwischen Thiersee/Landl und Bayrischzell. Nach Grundeigentümergesprächen steht nun die Türe für eine Projekteinreichung offen. Die geplante grenzüberschr. Loipe geht über den Ursprungspass, durch einen bezaubernden dichten Mischwald vorbei an dem alten Zollhaus und wird zum Teil von der Thierseer Ache gesäumt. So kann durch diesen neuen Loipenabschnitt die Natur zwischen Bayern u. Tirol auch auf Langlaufski erkundet werden. Weiters führt der Anschluss in ein 62 km großes Loipennetz rund um die Ortschaft Bayrischzell.Thiersee, derzeit mehr als Sommerdestination wahrgenommen, verfügt über wenig Winter-infrastruktur u. aufgrund der topograph. Gegebenheiten ist das Loipenangebot in der Gemeinde unzureichend. Thiersee verfügt aber über viele Gästebetten, die mangels winterlicher Infrastruktur besser ausgelastet werden könnten. Vice versa kann aucht Bayrischzell von einer besseren Frequentierung Tiroler Gäste enorm profitieren. So werden zum Beispiel derzeit tausende Gäste ins entfernte Großskigebiet Skiwelt geshuttelt. Mit dieser umweltfreundlichen Erschließung wird auch anvisiert den PKW Verkehr der Gäste u. Einheimischen zu verringern. Bis dato fahren Winter-sportlerInnen mit dem Auto z.Loipeneinstieg. Für das Thierseetal ergibt sich zudem die Möglichkeit, sich den Langlaufregionen Tirols anzuschließen. 2019 wurde eine grenzüberschreitende Buslinie zwischen Schliersee und Kufstein ins Leben gerufen. Das Vorhaben setzt auf ÖPNV, Abbau von PKW Verkehr u. ressourcenschonende Zugänglichkeitsmachung des einmaligen Naturerbes: Leitzachtal - Ursprungpass - Thiersee/Landl.

Expected Results (DE): EI 3 - Anteil der Gästenächtigungen in der Nebensaison an den Gesamtnächtigungen eines Jahres (%)

Expected Outputs (DE): Thiersee ist aufgrund des Sees eine historisch gewachsene Sommerdestination. Mit dem Loipenaschluss erhofft man sich eine Steigerung im Winter durch ein sanftes und naturbezogenes Wintersportangebot.
