AGRICULTURAL HIGH SCHOOL OF COCONI — EXCHANGES IN AGRICULTURAL VOCATIONAL TRAINING WITH THE UNION OF COMOROS AND MADAGASCAR IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE AAOI REAP

The Agricultural High School of Mayotte and its partners are committed to implementing an action plan for agricultural vocational training within the framework of the network of professional agricultural establishments Southern Africa — Indian Ocean (REAP AAOI). The objective of the project is to strengthen vocational training by networking, in particular through mobility, training centres and their associated farms, professional agricultural organisations and other privileged partners, such as private companies or innovation hubs. The development and strengthening of links between training centres and their professional partners are essential to improve the quality of training, its relevance to the context, as well as the professional integration of learners. Thus, by pooling the tools and resources of each partner, by implementing the results of experimentation for the benefit of education and agricultural development in practice, through regular exchanges within REAP AAOI around common pedagogical objectives, the project will increase the skills of trainers, promote the mobility of learners in order to consolidate their professional project, strengthen the structuring and anchoring of training centres within their respective territories and transfer innovation to the agricultural world.

Le lycée agricole de Mayotte et ses partenaires se sont engagés pour mettre en place un plan d’action en faveur de la formation professionnelle agricole dans le cadre du réseau des établissements agricoles professionnels Afrique Australe – Océan Indien (REAP AAOI). L’objectif du projet est de renforcer la formation professionnelle en mettant en réseau, notamment au travers de la mobilité, les centres de formation et leurs exploitations associées, les organisations professionnelles agricoles et d’autres partenaires privilégiés, tel des entreprises privées ou pôles d’innovations. Le développement et le renforcement des liens entre les centres de formation et leurs partenaires professionnels sont essentiels pour améliorer la qualité de la formation, son adéquation au contexte, ainsi que l’insertion professionnelle des apprenant(e)s. Ainsi par la mutualisation des outils et ressources de chaque partenaire, par une mise en application concrète des résultats de l’expérimentation au profit de l’enseignement et du développement agricole, par des échanges construits et réguliers au sein du REAP AAOI autour d’objectifs pédagogiques communs, le projet permettra d’accroître les compétences des personnels formateurs, favoriser la mobilité des apprenants en vue de consolider leur projet professionnel, renforcer la structuration et l’ancrage des centres de formation au sein de leurs territoires respectifs et transférer l’innovation au monde agricole.
