Objectives: The project continues with the same objective as the one implemented in the 1st phase, to establish stable/sustainable structures in EUROACE, to ensure the joint response in the prevention of risks and emergencies with the design and development of environmental monitoring systems, with the help of infrared and optical thermographic images, obtained by satellites of the “Copernicus” Programme, for use in real-time Early Warning Networks and their physical modelling, for prediction by remote sensing of fires and floods, to improve and shorten response times of Civil Protection Administrations on both sides of the border and minimise the impact on people’s health, the environment and their assets. Results: Have a Common Platform for EUROACE, in risk analysis, planning and common emergency response on both sides of the border, with the joint and real-time use of an environmental data bank and optical images and infrared thermograph for the prevention of irrigation. Common space of automatic environmental monitoring and emergency systems, to assess decision-making and shorten response times and reduce the impact on the environment and health. It will cover 75 % of the territory, 69.375 km² and a population of 2,541.404 inhabitants of EUROACE with the interconnection of environmental risk analysis and planning services and Civil Protection Services.

Objetivos: El proyecto continua con el mismo objetivo que el ejecutado en 1ª fase, instituir en la EUROACE las estructuras estables/sostenibles, para garantizar la respuesta conjunta en la prevención de riesgos y emergencias con el diseño y desarrollo de sistemas de vigilancia ambiental, con la ayuda de imágenes de termografia infrarroja y ópticas, obtenidas por satélites del Programa “Copernicus”, para su uso en Redes de Alertas Tempranas en tiempo real y su modelización física, para predicción por teledetección de incendios e inundaciones, que permitan mejorar y acortar tiempos de respuesta de las Administraciones de Protección Civil a ambos lados de la frontera y minimizar el impacto sobre la salud de las personas, el medio ambiente y sus bienes. Resultados: Disponer de una Plataforma Común para de la EUROACE, en análisis de riesgos, planeamiento y respuesta común a emergencias a ambos lados de la frontera, con la utilización conjunta y en tiempo real de un banco de datos ambientales e imágenes ópticas y de termografia infrarroja para la prevención de riegos. Espacio común de sistemas automáticos de vigilancia ambiental y emergencias, que permita evaluar la toma de decisiones y acortar los tiempos de respuesta y reducir el impacto sobre el medio ambiente y la salud. Dará cobertura al 75% del territorio, 69.375 km2 y una población de 2.541.404 habitantes de la EUROACE con la interconexión de los servicios de análisis y planificación ambiental de riesgos y los Servicios de Protección Civil
