Description (EN):

The project is a continuation of the construction of the EuroVelo11 route in the district. The Poprad Valley. As part of the current stage, the following sections are being built in the designated international route agreement: Old Lubowla — Chmel'nica, L. 1.9 km; —Muszyna (from the district of Folwark to the railway station Lł. 3.28 km and further link to stage I EV11); —Piwniczna (since the end of stage I EV11 in Mniszek n. Poprad) through Rytro to the border with Stary Sąz (L. 13.5 km). As part of the project, the EV11 section is planned to be completed. 18.68 km, including the construction of 7.93 km of new bicycle roads and marking 10.75 km of the EV11 route on the actual sections of roads with low traffic. The whole will be done in accordance with the standards foreseen for the EuroVelo network. It is also planned to build two Cycling Rest Places (in Piwnicka and Chmel'nica) equipped with electric bicycle charging stations using photovoltaic panels. In addition, it is planned that the partners will work together to facilitate the comprehensive promotion of the new tourist product: —development and preparation of questing landscape-nature.-historical after the attractions of the newly built route and its immediate vicinity together with the organisation of a partner bike rally. using the developed quest at the end of the project; preparation and printing of common information material (mini-brochure with map); the preparation is ok. 10 minute promotional film showing the course of the route and landscape-nature attractions.-historical in its course using aerial photography technique taken with the use of a drone; —preparation of additional functionality for the application developed for the needs of the Flag Project (i.e. a bicycle loop connecting the spa towns of the Poprad Valley) for the newly built section of EV 11. The project will create 18.68 km of another part of the EV11 route in Nordkap (Norway) — Athens (Greece) with a link of approx. 6.000 km, which at the same time will be a new, stand-alone TRANSGRANIC PRODUCT of tourists.

Projekt jest kontynuacją budowy trasy EuroVelo11 w rej. Doliny Popradu. W ramach obecnego etapu, w wyznaczonym międzynarod. porozumieniami śladzie trasy, budowane są następujące odcinki: -Stara Lubowla – Chmel’nica, dł. 1,9 km; -Muszyna (od dzielnicy Folwark do stacji PKP dł. 3,28 km i dalej powiazanie z etapem I EV11); -Piwniczna (od zakończenia etapu I EV11 w Mniszku n. Popradem) przez Rytro do granicy ze Starym Sączem (dł. 13,5 km). W ramach projektu planuje się zrealizować odcinek EV11 o dł. 18,68 km, w tym poprzez budowę 7,93 km nowych dróg rower. oraz oznakowanie 10,75 km trasy EV11 na istn. odcinkach dróg o małym natężeniu ruchu. Całość zostanie wykonana zgodnie ze standardami przewidzianymi dla sieci EuroVelo. Planuje się także bud. dwóch Miejsc Odpoczynku Rowerzystów (w Piwnicznej i Chmel’nicy) wyposażonych w stacje ładowania rowerów elektr. z wykorzystaniem paneli fotowolt. Ponadto planuje się, iż partnerzy wspólnie wypracują następujące elem. ułatwiające kompleksową promocję nowego produktu turyst.: -opracowanie i przygotowanie questingu krajobrazowo-przyrod.-historycznego po atrakcjach nowobudowanej trasy i jej najbliższych okolicach wraz z organizacją partnerskiego rajdu rower. z wykorzystaniem opracowanego questu na zakończenie projektu; -przygotowanie i wydruk wspólnego materiału informacyjnego (mini-broszura z mapą); -przygotowanie ok. 10 minutowego filmu promocyjnego pokazującego przebieg trasy i atrakcje krajobrazowo-przyrod.-historyczne w jej przebiegu z wykorzystaniem techniki zdjęć lotniczych wykonywanych z użyciem drona; -przygotowanie dodatkowej funkcjonalność do aplikacji opracowanej na potrzeby Projektu Flagowego (tj. pętli rower. łączącej miejscowości uzdrowiskowe Doliny Popradu) dla nowubudowanego odcinka EV 11. W ramach projektu powstanie 18,68 km kolejnego fragmentu trasy EV11 w przebiegu Nordkap (Norwegia) - Ateny (Grecja) o łącz. dł. ok. 6 tys. km, który jednocześnie stanowić będzie nowy, samodzielny TRANSGRANICZNY PRODUKT TURYST.

Achievements (EN):

The project is a continuation of the construction of the EuroVelo11 route in the Poprad Valley. As part of this, more than 18 km of routes were created, including 8 km of new cycle paths and 10 km of markings on existing road sections with low traffic volumes. In addition, rest areas were built for cyclists. Project successes Project activities: The project is part of Eurovelo’s pan-European activities. The final result is the creation of several cross-border routes covering large parts of Europe. As part of this project, sections have been built on the following routes: Stara Lubowla – Chmeľnica, Muszyna Folwark – Station, Piwniczna – Rytro – Stary Sącz. On the route there are also two rest areas for cyclists equipped with charging stations for electric bicycles with photovoltaic modules. Long-term impact: The opportunity to travel to the “other side” by bike will be an opportunity to learn about the sights, history and culture of the neighbors, which will also encourage people to get to know the border areas. This strengthens the understanding and awareness of the commonalities of the inhabitants. These activities will be reflected in joint meetings, events, trade, increased mobility of residents, as well as the building of friendships and personal relationships.
