Utiliser de manière efficiente les ressources est un défi pour la zone POCTEFA. L’objectif est de promouvoir le développement d’activités économiques et de secteurs plus innovants et compétitifs ayant un impact environnemental moindre. Le secteur de la santé est un secteur très consommateur de ressources. Par ailleurs, la demande croissante en soins, liée au vieillissement de la population, exerce une pression importante sur le secteur qui requiert une utilisation accrue de ressources. L’EC a été identifiée par la CE comme un outil approprié pour promouvoir une utilisation plus efficiente des ressources tout en favorisant une compétitivité accrue, dans la mesure où tirant parti des ressources locales disponibles, elle favorise le développement d’activités économiques plus innovantes. HEALCIER a pour ambition de contribuer à améliorer la compétitivité du secteur de la santé. Il s’agit de générer de nouvelles opportunités pour les entreprises et de promouvoir la création de nouvelles activités économiques permettant une utilisation plus efficace et efficiente des ressources. Une réflexion sur l’impact potentiel de l’EC sera engagé. Il impliquera tous les acteurs de l’Eurorégion et permettra ainsi d’identifier les opportunités d’une utilisation plus efficiente des ressources et de promouvoir la circularité de la chaîne de valeur des soins de santé. L’identification de ces besoins et de ces opportunités permettra de développer et de tester de nouveaux modèles et activités économiques, de nouveaux produits ou services. Il est prévu qu’au moins 12 entreprises bénéficient des outils développés. L’opportunité offerte par la coopération transfrontalière permettra de développer des solutions plus efficientes dans la mesure où elles émergeront d’une vision globale qui prendra en compte tous les acteurs de l’Eurorégion. Enfin, une méthodologie sera développée pour mesurer l’impact dans le secteur de la mise en œuvre de l’EC sur la génération de nouvelles opportunités économique

La utilización eficiente de los recursos es un reto del área POCTEFA. Se trata fomentar el desarrollo de actividades económicas y sectores más innovadores y competitivos que dispongan de un menor impacto ambiental. El sector de sanitario es un sector intensivo en el consumo de recursos. Además, la demanda creciente, derivada del envejecimiento de la población, ejerce una importante presión sobre el sector incidiendo en una mayor utilización de los recursos. La Economía Circular (EC) ha sido identificada como una herramienta adecuada por la CE para promover un uso más eficiente de los recursos mientras se promueve una mayor competitividad, dado que favorece el desarrollo de actividades económicas más innovadoras y sostenibles, aprovechando los recursos locales disponibles. HEALCIER pretende contribuir a mejorar la competitividad del sector sanitario aplicando la EC. Se trata de generar nuevas oportunidades para las empresas e impulsar la creación de nuevas actividades económicas, que redunden en un empleo más eficiente y eficaz de los recursos. Se impulsará un proceso de reflexión sobre el potencial impacto de la EC que, implicando a todos los agentes de la Eurorregión, permita identificar oportunidades para realizar una utilización más eficiente de los recursos e impulsar la circularidad de la cadena de valor de la asistencia sanitaria. Estas necesidades y oportunidades identificadas permitirán que se desarrollen y testeen nuevos modelos de negocio, actividades económicas, productos o servicios. Se prevé que al menos 12 empresas se beneficien de las herramientas desarrolladas. La oportunidad que representa la cooperación transfronteriza permitirá desarrollar soluciones más eficientes, dado que surgirán de una visión global que tenga en consideración a todos los agentes de la Eurorregión. Finalmente, se elaborará una metodología para la medición del impacto de la implementación de la EC que permita la generación de oportunidades de negocio futuras en el sector.

Description (EN):

To reach a more efficient use of natural resources is a key challenge for the POCTEFA area. The aim is to foster the development of more innovative and competitive business and sector which less environmental impact. Healthcare is one of the most intensive sectors in the use of natural resources. The increase of the demand, related to the aging of the population, puts pressure on the sector, generating even a more intensive use of the resources. European Commission identified the Circular Economy (CE) as one of the main tools to promote the efficient use of natural resources. Also, it improves competitiveness, fostering the development of more sustainable and innovative activities by means of the use of natural resources locally available. Healcier will improve the competitiveness of the healthcare sector by means of the Circular Economy. The aim is to generate new opportunities for companies and create new economic activities that will use natural resources in a more efficient and effective way. We, in collaboration with all the players of the Euroregion, will impulse a reflexion process on the impact of the Circular Economy with the objective of identifying new opportunities for using resources in a more efficient way and fostering the circularity of the healthcare value-chain. The needs and opportunities identified will allow developing and testing new products, services and business models. We planned that 12 enterprises will be beneficiaries of the tools developed. The cross-border collaboration offers an opportunity to develop more efficient solutions, due that they will appear from the shared vision of all the players of the Euroregion. Finally, we will elaborate a methodology to measure the impact of the CE that will allow the generation of future opportunities in the sector.
