Description (EN):

The project supports the development of trigeneration systems of electricity, hot water and cold water in both Romania and the Republic of Moldova. The novel technology will be tested and used on both sides of the Prut river, with 14.5 kWp of expected to be produced. Results will be disseminated through national and international conferences, as well as to students and engineers.

Expected Results (EN):

A system for trigeneration of electricity, hot water and cold water by using solar resources for research in RM (1). A system for trigeneration of electricity, hot water and cold water by using solar resources for testing in Romania (1). 14.5 kWp of installed power (14.5). Demonstration of the possibility of air cooling in buildings with hot water obtained from PVT panels (2). 5 patent applications filed with AGEPI in Moldova (5). Dissemination of gained knowledge and experience to undergraduate students, master students, PhD students and engineers (30). Participation in a scientific conference with a report (1).

Expected Outputs (EN):

Optimal configuration of trigeneration system (1). Reports on technical parameters of PVT (2). Patent application (5) - during the construction of PVT system, there will be implemented step by step the patents registered in AGEPI Moldova. These novel ideas will be also applied to the PVT system in Romania in order to verify replicability. Results promotion (4) - main results will be disseminated by reporting at national and international conferences and published in the conferences proceedings. Pvt system test operation (2) - fulfilled experiments to get cold from hot water by usage of adsorption chiller or other means. Results dissemination to targhet groups (30) - undergraduate students, master students, PhD students and engineers. Guide for sizing and using of PVT system (trigeneration system) (1). Construction and commissioning of PVT systems in Moldova and Romania (2).
