The project aims to capitalize on underappreciated common heritage sites in order to revitalize the cross-border tourism potential of the two countries. Two common historical and cultural sites will be restored and promoted as tourist destinations - The Church "Sfinții Teodori", Iași County, and the Church "Sfîntul Mare Mucenic Dimitrie", Soroca District. A number of cultural events, historical symposyums and conferences will be organized in order to enhance the promotion and valorization of the restored and preserved cultural, historical and religious heritage sites.

Expected Results (EN):

1. Restored, preserved cultural and historical heritage sites in the cross-border, promoted as tourist destinations (2). 2. The increased attractiveness of heritage assets in the cross-border area through promotion events (8). 3. Tourists and pilgrims informed and aware of the importance of protection and preservation of the heritage (1000). 4. Improved knowledge and good practices of Cultural and historical heritage experts on reservation and promotion of the heritage (50). 5. Institutions, cultural and historical heritage objectives, NGOs informed and aware of the protection, preservation and promotion of the heritage (30). 6. Improved skills for Singers religious music in the cross-border cooperation area (40). 7. Promoting religious and traditional objects exhibitors (20). 8. Organisational capacity developed and enhancement of cooperation between the 4 cross-border partners (1).

Expected Outputs (EN):

Restored and preserved heritage sites (2) - The Church ”Sfintii Teodori”, Iasi and Church ”Sfintul Mare Mucenic Dimitrie” Soroca. The churches will be promoted as promoted as tourist destinations. Event for promoting heritage (8) - Events organized for promotion and valorization of local culture and preserving historical heritage by using the tourist potential of the cross border area. Tourists, visitors and pilgrims (1000) - Tourists, visitors and pilgrims will participate in the promotion of joint co-operation, promotion of the restored and preserved cultural, historical, religious heritage sites. Heritage experts contribution to Guide of Heritage protection, preservation and promotion (50) - Academics, historians, cultural and heritage experts, priests from Iasi county and Soroca district attending conferences and information events on the protection and valorisation of cultural and historical heritage objectives through tourism. Instituitons informed and aware of the protection, preservation and promotion of the heritage (30) - Local public authorities, public and private institutions, museums, cultural and historical heritage objectives, NGOs from Iasi and Soroca. Improved skills for Singers religious music in the cross-border cooperation area (40). Exhibitors of religious and traditional objects promoted (20). Restored and Consolidated Heritage Objective in Soroca City (1). Restored and Consolidated Heritage Objective in Iasi, City (1).
