In de Vlaams-Nederlandse grensregio is het aantrekken van geschoolde vakmensen vaak een knelpunt. Vooral in sectoren verbonden aan de havens, de groeiende zorgvraag en de energietransitie liggen belangrijke kansen voor verbetering. GHLOBO: Grensoverstijgende Hybride Leeromgevingen in het Beroepsgericht Onderwijs Een diploma of startkwalificatie blijft een belangrijk toegangsticket tot de arbeidsmarkt. Waar een volwaardige kwalificatie bovendien wordt gecombineerd met relevante werkervaring, versterkt dit verder de doorstroomkansen van schoolverlaters en de instroom op de arbeidsmarkt. GHLOBO speelt in op de hernieuwde aandacht voor werkplekleren en wil door het aanbieden van hybride leeromgevingen een betere aansluiting creëren tussen vraag en aanbod van gekwalificeerde arbeidskrachten. De focus ligt hierbij op beroepsgerichte en technische opleidingen in het secundair (VL) of middelbaar beroeps- (NL) onderwijs. Zo blijven lerenden verzekerd van kwaliteitsvolle en authentieke leerervaringen. Het project organiseert lerende netwerkmeetings, inclusief workshops door kennis- en expertisecentra. In Provincie Antwerpen wordt een oefen- en simulatieruimte voor zorgkundigen ontwikkeld en in de Provincie Noord-Brabant zal een mobiele simulatieomgeving in de afdeling Logistiek van Curio geïnstalleerd worden. Daarnaast organiseren we ook een behoefteanalyse naar de competentie- en opleidingsnoden verbonden aan de energietransitie in het projectgebied. GHLOBO vindt tevens aansluiting bij het lopende project De Lerende Euregio Scheldemond. Binnen de Provincies Zeeland, Oost- en West-Vlaanderen is er eveneens aandacht voor hybride leeromgevingen in de zorg- en technieksector en wordt er aansluiting gezocht om samen te komen tot een groter complementair consortium. We onderhouden hierover regelmatig contact met de projectcoördinator van de de Lerende Euregio Scheldemond en sluiten waar mogelijk aan op elkanders activiteiten.

Description (EN):

In the Flemish-Dutch border region, attracting skilled professionals is often a bottleneck. There are important opportunities for improvement, especially in sectors related to the ports, the growing demand for care and the energy transition. A diploma or basic qualification remains an important entrance ticket to the labor market. Moreover, where a fully-fledged qualification is combined with relevant work experience, this further enhances the progression opportunities of school leavers and the entry into the labor market. GHLOBO is responding to the renewed attention for workplace learning and wants to create a better match between supply and demand of qualified workers by offering hybrid learning environments. The focus is on vocational and technical training in secondary (VL) or senior secondary vocational (NL) education. In this way, learners are assured of high-quality and authentic learning experiences. The project organizes learning network meetings, including workshops by knowledge and expertise centers. A practice and simulation room for healthcare professionals is being developed in the Province of Antwerp and a mobile simulation environment will be installed in Curio's Logistics department in the Province of North Brabant. In addition, we also organize a needs analysis into the competence and training needs associated with the energy transition in the project area. GHLOBO also links up with the current project De Lerende Euregio Scheldemond. Within the Provinces of Zeeland, East and West Flanders, attention is also being paid to hybrid learning environments in the care and technology sector and a connection is being sought in order to come together to form a larger complementary consortium. We maintain regular contact about this with the project coordinator of the Learning Euregio Scheldemond and, where possible, link up with each other's activities.
