Description (EN): Malo Selo d.o.o. is currently represented by the „Međimurski dvori“ restaurant and the „Etno art“ travel agency. Malo selo d.o.o. had already invested in a project called „Bajkovita šuma“ (Fairytale forest) and acquired a meadow and a forest area of 12.500 m2 (200 m from the restaurant „Međimurski dvori“) where a visitor facility has been partly built.
PANNONIA INFERIOR Kft. operations are based on the restaurant Tenkes Csárda (located on the Tenkes hill). PANNONIA INFERIOR Kft. already has a traditional Courtyard of traditions next to Tenkes Csárda where families can get acquainted with traditional animals (horses, chicken, gooses, pigs) in their living circumstances.
Both partners base their offer on traditional dishes alongside new content. With the existing catering facilities, partners are developing a new product which will complement their offer. The Tenkes csárda develops content based on the local gastronomy, traditions and legends. On the other hand, Malo selo d.o.o. is developing a park based on myths, history and fairytales in a forest environment.
The aim of this project is a joint development of a new product for tourists as well as setting up new thematic products in form of tour package that will attract new visitors and create an identifiable product.
1. Development of interpretation points with attractive content and presentation elements. (Fairytale forest and Courtyard of traditions) - Educational equipment and fun games will be set up at the interpretation points (IP). In addition to basic information about the content the info tables at the points will allow interaction with content based on augmented reality (AR).The AR content will be accessible via smartphones and similar devices with a built in camera. Depending on the interactive point and the players location in the environment the virtual reality content will be adjusted and displayed. Special tours will be available for blind and visually impaired guests. There will be an information panel at the project site, covering the basic information about the other B Light project partner.
2. Joint development of software for dual cooperative and competitive installation (gaming unit) – „Zrinski – keepers of the past” - essential hardware units will be procured and installed at each B Light project partner's location. Other necessary equipment will be procured (3D glasses, sound system, 3D VR video wall, interaction tool, communication network module) and installed. During the project implementation, the project partners will jointly develop and design the same content that will be projected on the both partners’ locations. The content is based on stories, legends, customs and tradition combined with real history, making up a mutual narrative of the two project partners regions. The Zrinski family members are making up the element of a historical narrative. One gaming unit consists of an adapted 3D VR interactive platform and video wall on which the interactive 3D VR gaming content is available. A group of players can simultaneously use the gaming content play together on both sites.
3. Development of Zrinski Gastronomic Brand - The Zrinski (Zrínyi) gastronomic brand aims to create a modern gastronomic brand, based on hundreds of years of tradition, which enables the use of local produce and raw materials, the development of the local gastronomic sector, and the enrichment and revitalization of the tourism supply.
Miklós Zrínyi was a lover of Hungarian and Croatian cuisine. The gastronomic legacy of Miklós Zrínyi is far from being processed and utilized. At the moment, our restaurants do not really reflect on the Zrínyi style, don't prepare foods from the ancient cookbook of Miklós Zrínyi, not even reconsidered foods, they do not deal with the spices or mixtures of spices that are used specifically. As part of the project, a new, useful and interpretable Zrinski Cookbook on the gastronomic heritage of the Zrínyi family will be elaborated.
In addition, the Zrínyi Gastronomic Brand will be developed, which can be received and used if it is passed by a professional Zrinski committee based on meeting specific requirements (origin, raw materials used, processing, sales etc.) and can be used for a set period of time and can be extended on request, subject to continuous review.
4. Innovative tourist product development for the tourism market - tourist product will be established in the form of package arrangements between Hungary and Croatia, focusing on different niche markets and target groups (individual travellers, families with children and school groups). The jointly developed tourist product will be a part of a one/multi-day trip alongside the existing gastronomy offer and other tourism related activities. Arrangements that include various elements of each destination could be historical, fairytale, gastro-eno, cultural and wellness tours. The programmes will be elaborated during the project implementation.
