Description (IT):

Il progetto vuole salvaguardare e ripristinare il patrimonio storico e culturale delle aree alpine attraverso percorsi emozionali, per integrare l’offerta tradizionale ed incrementare l’attività dell’area anticipando le tendenze di un turismo sempre più esperienziale. Lo scambio di conoscenze e know-how tra Region Viamala e Valchiavenna sarà fondamentale per rivitalizzare la microarea alpina dello Spluga, in linea con la strategia Eusalp.

Description (EN):

The project aims to safeguard and restore historical and cultural heritage of the Alpine areas through emotional paths. The aims is to integrate the traditional offer and increase the activity of the territory anticipating the trends of an increasingly experiential tourism. The exchange of knowledge and know-how between Region Viamala and Valchiavenna will be fundamental to revitalize the Spluga Alpine microarea, in line with the Eusalp strategy.

Achievements (EN): Looking to the future by immersing ourselves in what nature has to reveal was the challenge of the SPLUGA 2.0 project: the project created a multimedia discovery path to accompany visitors' movements, also through an e-bike service, to explore the sites rearranged on the ancient Via dello Spluga.

Expected Results (IT):

1 - Incremento dei flussi turistici con ricadute positive sul tessuto economico locale; 2 - mantenimento e incremento della popolazione sul territorio contrastando l’abbandono delle aree alpine nei territori di confine; 3 - conservazione e creazione di occupazione in ambedue le aree d’intervento; 4 - realizzazione di un modello di governance e di un progetto pilota di cooperazione esportabile e ripetibile realizzazione di un modello di gestione integrata esportabile e ripetibile; 5 - Attivazione di progetti ed iniziative realizzate congiuntamente derivati dagli incontri e dagli scambi nei diversi ambiti; 6 - Riposizionamento competitivo delle destinazioni turistiche migliorando l'offerta del patrimonio locale; 7 - mantenimento e creazione di attività lavorative in ambedue le regioni; 8 - aumento di presenze nella viaSpluga; 9 - aumento dell’occupazione del settore alberghiero e destagionalizzazione dei flussi;
