The aim of the project is to identify the appropriate technology and apply it to a group of post-covid patients a personalized respiratory and/or motor rehabilitation program, to be carried after hospital discharge in order to assess the effects. This program is carried out from patients home via tablet, with breathing and/or motors exercises set during the hospitalization and always giving the patient the opportunity to contact their doctor and/or physiotherapist.

Obiettivo del progetto è identificare la tecnologia idonea per somministrare il programma riabilitativo ai pazienti e e applicare ad un gruppo di pazienti post-covid un programma riabilitativo respiratorio e/o motorio personalizzato da svolgersi direttamente al domicilio dei pazienti dopo la dimissione ospedaliera al fine di valutarne gli effetti. Tale modalità viene svolta da casa tramite tablet, con esercizi respiratori e/o motori impostati durante la degenza e fornendo sempre al paziente la possibilità di contattare il proprio medico e/o fisioterapista.

Achievements (EN):

An important problem caused by the pandemic has been the suspension of outpatient services provided on the territory, especially in the field of rehabilitation; in addition to this, there has been an increasing demand for rehabilitation for long-covid patients. The main objective was to identify a suitable technology to administer the rehabilitation program to patients and apply a personalised program to a group of patients, to be carried out directly in their homes after hospital discharge. The project partnership, through the study of new systems for telerehabilitation, has provided solutions to assist health facilities in the expiation of the application for rehabilitation, employing a “digital” therapist and offering the possibility to perform remotely the exercises set up during the stay and to contact your doctor or physiotherapist in case of any need.

Expected Results (IT):

Identificazione della tecnologia più adatta alla teleriabilitazione dei pazienti presso il proprio domicilio; Agevolazione e riabilitazione dei pazienti post-covid; Miglioraramento della performance respiratoria e motoria dei pazienti post covid; Miglioramento della fruibilità dei programmi di fisioterapia; Introduzione di tecnologie innovative in ambito sanitario; Aumento della conoscenza e delle esperienze del personale clinico nel settore della teleriabilitazione.

Expected Outputs (IT): Selezione di 3 contrattisti di ricerca dedicati alla realizzazione delle attività del progetto. Acquisizione di 27 sistemi di teleriabilitazione (per l’attività motoria e per l’attività respiratoria Selezione e valutazione di selezionare 40 pazienti che parteciperanno allo studio .
