• EUStrategyBalticSeaRegion Project contributes to Policy area “Education” of EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, increased prosperity that presupposes access to quality education and training for all, a well-functioning labor market supporting geographical, professional and socio-economic mobility. We can do more by a closer collaboration, making best use of our resources together in the Baltic Sea Region. Within the project we want to help local communities to become more active, more open minded for communication. Lifelong learning is crucial for rural people to survive in big municipality environment, to be competitive and attractive not only in job environment, but also in community level with gaining new knowledge, new impressions, new skills not just in local but cross border level.
• Other Project contributes to VIDZEME PLANNING REGION DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM 2022 – 2027 Aim no.2 to Improve people's quality of life with under tasks like available education, including lifelong learning, and Identity and strong communities. This all goes in one line with our project activities as planned trainings, study visits, common cooperation and exchange of experiences will definitely give new knowledge and new skills for local active people. Make stronger local communities and their identities.
• Project contributes to The Action Plan of Development programme of Smiltene Municipality 2022-2028 Under Priority 1 “Socially secure society and effective governance” there are direction of action No. 1 “Local community” which tasks is to Promote local people cooperation initiative and Community development, and direction of action No.3 “Education and skills” one of tasks is to promote the development of competences for different lifelong target groups. This all goes in one line with our project activities as planned trainings, study visits, common cooperation and exchange of experiences will definitely give new knowledge and new skills for local active people.
• Project contributes to The Olustvere School of Service and Rural Economic development plan 2022 - 2025: lk. 14 Sub-goal 6: To develop the school and the rural economy, regional, pan-Estonian and international events aimed at the public, are organized activities. In project planned joint cross border event organization and local people participation in them are closely related with this goal.
• Project contributes to Viljandi County Development Strategy 2035: p. 18 "Active presentation of Viljandimaa's opportunities: Introducing Viljandimaa to neighboring countries (Latvia, Finland)". Joint cooperation activities within which people get to know more about region will be achieved through our project.
