Description (EN):

In order to support the governance and implementation of EUSDR PA 9 "People and Skills" as the main objective of this project, the following activities (according to the Work Programme of PA9 and the revised EUSDR Action Plan) are planned: Coordination: The aim is to maintain the Steering Group of PA9 as the main coordination body (network of national counterparts relevant to the Priority Area). Furthermore, the network of stakeholders will be enlarged through targeted activities like Stakeholder Conferences. Cooperation: The goal is to deepen know-how transfer in the region and to support policy development and cooperation among institutions through Stakeholder Conferences, Steering Group meetings, thematic workshops, peer learning as well as evidence-based tools. Embedding/ESF MA Network: The aim of the network is to find a common ground for ESF relevant policy proposals in order to develop and establish state-of-the art policies in labour market policy, governance and social inclusion that take into account macro-regional dynamics and interdependencies in the Danube Region with competent and viable transnational partnerships. Communication and information: To raise public awareness and to inform stakeholders about ongoing activities of PA9, there will be regular updates of the PA9 website and social media, newsletters, information materials etc. Information (about financing possibilities, relevant stakeholders and partners in the EUSDR countries, existing projects etc.) will be provided to promote the development and implementation of new projects and initiatives in the fields of the PA9 actions.

Actual Achievements (EN):

The Report covers the entire year 2023. To support the governance and implementation of EUSDR PA9 as the main objective of this project, the following activities were realised within the reporting period: - The 11th Stakeholder Conference of PA9 "Towards more resilient, safer and smarter Danube region" took place on 13 and 14 November online. It was organised by PP5 in close cooperation with all partners. - The 24th Steering Group Meeting was organized by PP5 on 14 June in close cooperation with all involved partners. The 25th Steering Group Meeting was organized by PP3 on 28 November in close cooperation with all involved partners. - The Steering Group is the main body of coordination within the framework of PA9 and the meetings were successful with regard to knowledge exchange, fostering cooperation and the adoption of the rolling work plan. - The PA9-ETF joint GRETA webinar took place on 18 October online. The preparation, organization and co-hosting of the webinar was in close cooperation with the Austrian ASP. PP3 presented the results of a questionnaire. - The eTwinning Danube Region Seminar took place in Krems (Austria) on 1 and 2 June with the support of PP3 and in cooperation with the Austrian AP. - The PA9 Seed Money Facility Info-session took place online on 13 December with the support of PP3 and all involved partners. - Participation in EUSDR meetings on a national as well as on an EUSDR level. Furthermore, PA9 cooperated with the EC and the DSP as regards the further development of the EUSDR. Cooperation continued in a well-coordinated manner. To support the governance and implementation of EUSDR PA9 as the main objective of this project, the following activities were realised within the reporting period: - The 12th Stakeholder Conference of PA9 “Fair, Green and Digital Transition in Education and Labour Market Policies” took place on 23 May 2024 in Vienna. It was organised by PP1 and PP3 in close cooperation with all partners. - The 26th Steering Group Meeting was organized by PP1 on 24 May in close cooperation with all involved partners. The Steering Group is the main body of coordination within the framework of PA9 and the meetings were successful with regard to knowledge exchange, fostering cooperation and the adoption of the rolling work plan. - The Thematic Workshop "Digitalisation of the Public Employment Service and the Labour Market Administration" took place on 27 and 28 June 2024 in Podgorica, Montenegro. The workshop was organised by PP1. - The joint PA9-ETF 3rd Meeting of the Danube Region Platform on Centres of Vocational Excellence “Greening of VET in the Danube Region: Changing skill demands and the role of Centres of Vocational Excellence” took place on 18 April 2024 in Vienna. The meeting was prepared, organised and hosted by PP3 in close cooperation with the Austrian AP and ETF. - The eTwinning Danube Region Seminar took place in Krems/Wachau on 13 and 14 June 2024 with the support of PP3 and in cooperation with the Austrian AP. - Within the EUSDR Annual Forum on 20-21 June 2024, a session titled “Skills and education for the green transition” was hosted by our Priority Area and organised by PP1 and PP3 in close cooperation with all involved partners. Content-wise the session was prepared together with Priority Area 7. In addition, a world café session was hosted by our Priority Area, discussing framework conditions and needs for the future in the area of people and skills. - Participation in EUSDR meetings on a national as well as on an EUSDR level. Furthermore, PA9 cooperated with the EC and the DSP as regards the further development of the EUSDR. Cooperation continued in a well-coordinated manner. To support the governance and implementation of EUSDR PA9 as the main objective of this project, the following activities were realised within the reporting period: - The 11th Meeting of the ESF Network in the Danube Region took place on 24 and 25 September 2024 in Split, Croatia. It was organised by LP1 in close cooperation with PA10. - The 27th Steering Group Meeting was organized by LP1 on 7 and 8 November in Budva, Montenegro in close cooperation with all involved partners. The Steering Group is the main body of coordination within the framework of PA9 and the meetings were successful with regard to knowledge exchange, fostering cooperation and the adoption of the rolling work plan. - Within the EUSDR eTwinning Danube Strategy Flagship, PP3 hosted an eTwinning Partner Finding Event on 2 October 2024 connecting 20 teachers from Austria and Ukraine in an online format. - On 29 November 2024, the first exchange of the newly formed Joint Coordination Group between PA 7, 8 and 9 took place online. A follow-up meeting was held at the NC-PAC Meeting on 11 December in Vienna. - Participation in EUSDR meetings on a national as well as on an EUSDR level. Furthermore, PA9 cooperated with the EC and the DSP as regards the further development of the EUSDR. Cooperation continued in a well-coordinated manner. To support the governance and implementation of EUSDR PA9 as the main objective of this project, the following activities were realised within the reporting period: - The 13th Stakeholder Conference of PA9 “Towards an Innovative, Resilient and Inclusive Danube Region through Unity and Cooperation” took place on 12 and 13 May, online. It was organised by PP5 in close cooperation with LP1 and PP3. - The 12th Meeting of the ESF Network in the Danube Region took place on 28 April 2025 online. It was organised by PA10 in close cooperation with LP1. - The 28th Steering Group Meeting was organized by PP5 in close cooperation with LP1 and PP3 on 25 May, online. The Steering Group is the main body of coordination within the framework of PA9 and the meeting was successful with regard to knowledge exchange, fostering cooperation, labelling Danube Strategy Flagships, and the adoption of the rolling work plan. - The eTwinning Danube Region Seminar took place in Linz, Austria from 4 to 6 June 2025 with the support of PP3 and in cooperation with the Austrian AP. - Participation in EUSDR meetings on a national as well as on an EUSDR level. Furthermore, PA9 cooperated with the EC and the DSP as regards the further development of the EUSDR. Cooperation continued in a well-coordinated manner.

EUStrategyDanubeRegion The project supports the governance and implementation of Priority Area 9 of the EUSDR based on the PA9 work programme and revised EUSDR Action Plan.
EuropeanGreenDeal The project pays specific attention to environmental education, green skills and green jobs, as well as the results of the green transition on the labour market, thereby enabling a just transition.
