TRIPLO+ is the natural continuation of the original TRIPLO project. In fact, starting from the main output of this project - the Strategic Plan -, TRIPLO+ aims to reinforce the solutions identified for noise reduction through both small investments and capitalization activities. In particular, each partner - on the basis of the analysis carried out in the original project and the dynamics of its own pilot area - will develop specific actions - demos and capitalization - that will provide further data and elements of knowledge to enrich and consolidate the indications contained in the TRIPLO Strategic Plan, transforming it into the TRIPLO+ Strategic Plan. The demos will be preceded and followed by acoustic surveys to demonstrate the degree of noise reduction and - in continuity with TRIPLO - the physical analysis will be accompanied by perceptive analysis (innovative approach introduced with TRIPLO) to understand local perceptions of the improvement of the acoustic climate, before and after the implementation of the solutions. A special report containing the results of the evaluation of the effectiveness will be drawn up for use by the identified partners and target groups. The capitalization will instead be aimed at extending the capitalization process already started with TRIPLO, to learn how other European projects have used ITS systems for noise reduction, in what ways local communities have been involved, how noise reduction measures are managed at institutional and in the interaction between ports and connected neighbouring areas. In light of the continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the project will employ innovative work solutions, making extensive use of remote methods.

TRIPLO+ rappresenta il naturale proseguimento del progetto originario TRIPLO. Partendo infatti dall’output principale di questo progetto, ovvero il Piano Strategico, TRIPLO+ si pone come obiettivo quello di rafforzare le soluzioni individuate per la riduzione del rumore mediante la realizzazione sia di piccoli investimenti che di attività di capitalizzazione. In particolare ciascun partner, sulla base dell’ analisi svolta nel progetto d’origine, e delle dinamiche che caratterizzano la propria l’area pilota, svilupperà specifiche azioni talune dimostrative, altre di capitalizzazione, che consentiranno di ottenere ulteriori dati ed elementi di conoscenza così da arricchire e consolidare le indicazioni contenute nel Piano Strategico TRIPLO, trasformandolo nel Piano Strategico TRIPLO+. Le azioni dimostrative saranno precedute e seguite da rilevazioni acustiche al fine di dimostrare il livello di riduzione del rumore e, in continuità con TRIPLO, all’analisi fisica sarà affiancata l’analisi percettiva (approccio innovativo introdotto con TRIPLO) per capire,prima e dopo l’intervento,come il cittadino recepisce il miglioramento del clima acustico.Un apposito report contenente i risultati di valutazione dell’efficacia sarà redatto ad uso dei partner e dei gruppi target individuati. L’azione di capitalizzazione sarà rivolta invece ad approfondire il percorso di capitalizzazione avviato già con TRIPLO, per conoscere come altri progetti europei abbiano utilizzato i sistemi ITS per la riduzione del rumore, con quali modalità sono stati coinvolti icittadini, come vengono gestite a livello istituzionale e nell’interazione tra i porti e le aree limitrofe connesse, le misure di attenuazione del rumore. Alla luce del persistere della pandemia da COVID19, il progetto svilupperà le sue attività in modo innovativo, facendo largo uso della modalità “a distanza”.

TRIPLO+ représente la suite naturelle du projet TRIPLO original. En partant en fait du principal résultat de ce projet, à savoir le Plan stratégique, TRIPLO+ vise à renforcer les solutions identifiées pour la réduction du bruit par la réalisation de petits investissements et d'activités de capitalisation. En particulier, chaque partenaire, sur la base de l'analyse effectuée dans le projet original, et des dynamiques qui caractérisent sa zone pilote, développera des actions spécifiques, certaines démonstratives, d'autres de capitalisation, qui permettront d'obtenir d'autres éléments de données et de connaissances afin d'enrichir et de consolider les indications contenues dans le Plan stratégique TRIPLO, en le transformant en Plan stratégique TRIPLO+. Les actions démonstratives seront précédées et suivies d'enquêtes acoustiques afin de démontrer le niveau de réduction du bruit et, dans la continuité de TRIPLO, l'analyse physique sera accompagnée de l'analyse perceptive (approche innovante introduite avec TRIPLO) pour comprendre, avant et après l'intervention, comment le citoyen perçoit l'amélioration du climat acoustique. Un rapport spécial contenant les résultats de l'évaluation de l'efficacité sera rédigé à l'usage des partenaires et des groupes cibles identifiés. L'action de capitalisation visera à approfondir le processus de capitalisation déjà entamé avec TRIPLO, à savoir comment d'autres projets européens ont utilisé les systèmes STI pour réduire le bruit, comment les citoyens ont été impliqués, comment les mesures d'atténuation du bruit sont gérées au niveau institutionnel et dans l'interaction entre les ports et les zones voisines connexes. Compte tenu de la persistance de la pandémie de COVID19, le projet développera ses activités de manière innovante, en recourant largement au mode "à distance".

Achievements (EN):

This opportunity illustrates the results of the interventions planned and financed by TRIPLO Plus aimed at applying the solutions identified in the previous TRIPLO project in order to reduce the noise pollution caused by freight transport by road and rail, the sections between ports and connected logistics platforms. Two pilot actions have been identified: In the port of Toulon, the CCI VAR, in cooperation with the metropolis of Toulon, has installed roller blinds and atomisers and calls on users who are waiting on board to turn off the engines of their cars via special information boards. In the municipality of Capannori (Lucca), the province of Lucca, which led the project, intervened in cooperation with the city administration and provided for the installation of sound-absorbing asphalt in a section of the local road, which was particularly exposed to noise pollution from freight traffic.
