Contribution to wider strategies and policies:

  • 1) EUSAIR STRATEGY PILLAR 4: SUSTAINABLE TOURISM Topic 1 – Diversified tourism offer (products and services)
  • INTERFIDE capitalization aimed specifically at the enhancement of religious touristic itineraries identified by the Pilot Tour action in the framework of the InterFide-CRT and to support a) common tourism/territorial brand management b)sustainable and accessible development in tourism offer c) thematic tourism itineraries d) fostering natural and cultural heritage e) upgrading of tourism products
  • 2) EUSAIR STRATEGY PILLAR 4: SUSTAINABLE TOURISM Topic 2 – Sustainable and responsible tourism management (innovation and quality)
  • INTERFIDE 2.0 planned actions for new professionals training in the tourism industry, developing an experts network to implement the INTERFIDE model, creating an umbrella brand to identify and encompass the common identity features of these tourism religious itineraries. These all aim to a) promote the Region in the world markets supporting tourism internationalization b) train in key skills (vocational and entrepreneurial skills )for tourism business management. This training include an overview on new marketing trends and is supposed to transfer knowledges on destinations management.
  • EUSAIR CROSS CUTTING- capacity building. Spreading macro-regional approaches to other Mediterranean areas. The manual for well-being tourism development aims to deepen the understanding of this branch of tourism and provide insights into tourism products, destinations and potential development of the Adriatic and Ionian areas. The manual provides guidelines for professional in wellness tourism field, recommendations for planning, development and circulation based on resources identification and evaluation, marketing trends and distribution channels, but even examples of good European practice that cold offer a vision.
