Projektu „MultiMobile“ siekiama pagerinti gyvenimo sąlygas mažiau galimybių turintiems asmenims atokiose, marginalizuotose Livanų ir Mažeikių regionų kaimo vietovėse ir padidinant mobiliųjų skaitmeninių socialinių paslaugų prieinamumą. Projekto partneriai suvienys jėgas kurdami palankesnes gyvenimo sąlygas gerindami skaitmeninių socialinių paslaugų prieinamumą marginalizaciją patiriantiems ir mažiau galimybių turintiems kaimo vietovių žmonėms. Bus sukurtos naujų mobilių socialinių paslaugų teikimo metodinės gairės. Kad pagerintų savo bendradarbiavimo, įsitraukimo ir komunikacijos įgūdžius, vietos socialinių paslaugų tiekėjai bus pakviesti į mokymus ir bendrą keitimosi patirtimi renginį. Efektyvesniam socialinių paslaugų teikimui projekto partneriai taip pat įsigis aplinką tausojančius elektrinius mikroautobus, o vietos bendruomenės bus informuotos apie naujas socialines paslaugas. Taip bus sukurta naujas mobilių daugiafunkcinių paslaugų teikimo modelis, kuris įgalins paslaugas teikti kaimo gyventojams arčiau jų gyvenamosios vietos. Sumažinus skaitmeninių paslaugų prieinamumo atotrūkį, dėka ilgalaikio tarpvalstybiniu partnerių bendradarbiavimo, Latvijos ir Lietuvos pasienio regionuose bus kuriamos socialiai teisingesnės gyvenimo sąlygos.

Description (EN):

The project “MultiMobile” aims to enhance living conditions for individuals facing fewer opportunities in remote, marginalized rural areas of Livani and Mažeikiai regions by increasing access to mobile digital social services. The project partners will join forces to create more favourable living conditions by improving the availability of digital social services for people in rural areas who experience marginalization and have fewer opportunities and will create methodological guidelines for new mobile social service. Social service providers will be invited to special trainings and joint experience exchange event to foster their cooperation, involvement, and communication skills. Also, project partners will purchase environment-friendly electric minibuses that will be used for provision of more effective social services. Local communities will be informed about the new services. As a result, the project will create new mobile multifunctional-point service which is strategically positioned in close proximity to the residences of rural inhabitants. Reduction of the digitalization gap, coupled with enduring cross-border collaborations among partners, will create more equitable living conditions in border regions of Latvia and Lithuania.

Projekta “MultiMobile” mērķis ir uzlabot dzīves apstākļus personām, kurām ir mazāk iespēju attālos, marginalizētos lauku apvidos Līvānu un Mažeiķu reģionos, palielinot piekļuvi mobilajiem digitālajiem sociālajiem pakalpojumiem. Projekta partneri apvienos spēkus, lai radītu labvēlīgākus dzīves apstākļus, uzlabojot digitālo sociālo pakalpojumu pieejamību iedzīvotājiem, kuri piedzīvo marginalizāciju un kuriem ir mazāk iespēju, kā arī izveidos metodiskos norādījumus jaunam mobilajam sociālajam pakalpojumam. Sociālo pakalpojumu sniedzēji tiks aicināti uz specializētām apmācībām un kopīgu pieredzes apmaiņas pasākumu, lai veicinātu viņu sadarbības, iesaistīšanās un komunikācijas prasmes. Turklāt projekta partneri iegādāsies videi draudzīgus elektriskos mikroautobusus, kuri tiks izmantoti efektīvāku sociālo pakalpojumu sniegšanai. Vietējie iedzīvotāji tiks informēti par jaunajiem pakalpojumiem. Projekta rezultātā tiks izveidots jauns mobilais daudzfunkcionālais punkts lauku iedzīvotāju dzīvesvietu tiešā tuvumā. Digitalizācijas plaisas samazināšana kopā ar ilgstošu pārrobežu sadarbību starp partneriem radīs vienlīdzīgākus dzīves apstākļus Latvijas un Lietuvas pierobežas reģionos.

Actual Achievements (EN):

At the beginning of the project, on March 26th, 2024 the LP organized project kick-off meeting and invited project partners from Mažeikiai district municipality to discuss the project start, activities, as well as collaboration and communication principles. During the kick-off meeting the Project Partnership Agreement was signed by the officials of both project partners. In Period 1, preparatory work was carried out by both partners for the Activity 1.2, where it is planned to purchase electric minibuses for the mobile social services in Livani and Mažeikiai. Both tender results are expected in Period 2 and delivery of the vehicles in Period 3. Also, during the Period 1 preparatory works were conducted for the Activity 2.1, which is planned for the Period 2. Finally, project publicity activities were implemented for the Activity 2.5 - informative poster was placed at the premises of both project partners, information about the project was published on the official website of the LP and PP2, publications about the project kick-off meeting, project goals and activities were posted on the social media of Livanu novads, website and social media site of PP2, as well as local media outlet "Jekabpils laiks".

(EN) | The aim of this project was to improve living conditions in the poor communities of Mažeikiai and Saldus districts. The living environment of both municipalities was improved by installing skate parks in Mažeikiai and Saldu and by organizing various educational activities for young people, seniors and all residents. This created a closer community bond and encouraged local residents to cooperate. During the project, bad habit prevention and bullying prevention trainings were organized for young people, physical activity promotion and stress management trainings for seniors, and team building trainings were organized for the entire community. About 160 people participated in the educational activities of the project. Residents of both regions of Latvia and Lithuania were invited to the opening ceremonies of roller parks in Mažeikiai and Saldu. During them, joint sports games, competitions, various games for the formation of mixed Lithuanian and Latvian teams were held, and the places where residents of Mažeikiai and Saldaus districts can spend their free time were briefly introduced. Mazeikiai and Saldus, based on their different experiences, developed a new approach and ideas on how to improve living conditions and the environment in poor communities and increase the motivation of communities to participate in social activities. The municipalities of both project partners border each other, so the partners had a great opportunity to start closer cooperation by participating in this project, especially when working with socially disadvantaged communities. Community members and municipal employees had the opportunity to get to know each other better, make new connections, get ideas and find new opportunities to remove obstacles to the development of communities and transform their communities from poor to prosperous ones. We can contribute to this goal by reducing the level of social exclusion, increasing the availability of social services, bringing them closer to the place of residence, reducing poverty, equal opportunities, ensuring sustainable regional development.
Providing attractive social services and promoting communities the participation of the two countries in joint activities will strengthen the identity of the municipalities and will improve the living environment.
Other This project will contribute to the implementation of the EC's long-term vision for rural areas of the European Union, which covers the period until 2040. A European Commission communication sets out a long-term vision for the EU’s rural areas up to 2040. It identifies areas of action towards stronger, connected, resilient and prosperous rural areas and communities. A Rural Pact and an EU Rural Action Plan with tangible flagships and new tools will help achieve the goals of this vision.
This project meets the following rural vision objectives:
