Contribution to wider strategies and policies:

  • Other The project in general strives to help the participating regions and member states in addressing their action plans and regulatory efforts towards PFAS contamination. As explained above these strategies will depend on research towards the biochemical effects of PFAS on the human body but will surely involve testing the environment and mapping PFAS pollution throughout the entire region. Fytoscreening and -remediation might also play a role in cleaning up the problem.
