Contribution to wider strategies and policies:
- SeaBasinStrategyBlackSea The project contributes to the realization of the main priorities and initiatives of the Common Maritime Program for the Black Sea and specifically to the following actions: Education for the marine ecosystem. Promoting common marine conservation projects at all educational levels, including early childhood education. Raising awareness among public authorities and citizens of marine environmental issues and the impact of human activities on the marine ecosystem. Raising awareness among public authorities about the possibilities of the circular economy. Promotion of marine waste collection and recycling practices.
- The project contributes to: Protecting the environment and promoting the efficient use of resources. A seminar for public administration on the green transition and the circular economy is planned. During a summer youth thematic camp, a seminar will be held on the topic: "Marine and coastal ecosystems. Marine waste – a transboundary ecological problem". Environmental action to clean up a section of the Black Sea coast. Recycled shipping containers will be used in the construction of new green park spaces.
- EUStrategyDanubeRegion The project contributes to the realization of the priorities and initiatives of the Danube Strategy and the accompanying Action Plan. The project is related to: protecting the environment and promoting the efficient use of resources; investing in sustainable quality products, services, innovative forms and infrastructure; investing in people and skills; promoting the exchange of information and best practices to improve cooperation and to initiate joint projects; promotion of culture and tourism, contacts between people. The main activities envisaged by the project are aimed at the construction of green infrastructure and renovation of green areas. The other activities included in the project /thematic seminars, studies, plans/ foresee the building of institutional capacity at the transnational and municipal level for the successful implementation and management of the activities and measures in the field of climate change mitigation and adaptation and developing strategic documents that provide a synergistic approach to environmental policies. Special attention is paid to young people and their environmental education.
- Other The project concerns topics related to the recovery and sustainability plans of Bulgaria and Romania of the European Union.
- The project is synchronized with the strategic goals and priorities based on the regional development strategies of the districts of Dobrich and Constanta, Taraklia and Bolgrad, as well as with the Strategic Plans of the municipalities of General Toshevo and Murfatlar, Taraklia and Bolgrad. The project also affects the policies and priorities of the Interreg VI-A Romania-Bulgaria and Interreg NEXT Romania-Republic of Moldova 2021-2027 programs.
