- Les activités du projet ont analysé la relation entre les principes de l'économie circulaire et la politique touristique méditerranéenne, en mettant l'accent sur le développement et l'application d'indicateurs spécifiques de l'économie circulaire qui peuvent améliorer les modèles de gestion et de planification du secteur du tourisme dans les territoires partenaires du projet, et en général dans la zone du programme, dans une perspective concrète de durabilité.
- Une plate-forme de connaissances a été développée qui établit les prémisses pour l'échange de connaissances, d'outils, de méthodes et de bonnes pratiques déjà acquises dans le domaine de l'économie circulaire appliquée au secteur du tourisme, assurant un transfert et une capitalisation supplémentaires des connaissances existantes dans le secteur du tourisme. En outre, la plateforme permet aux utilisateurs d'évaluer la circularité et la durabilité de leurs politiques et actions grâce à un outil d'analyse comparative et d'auto-évaluation.
- Partenaire responsable : ANETEL. (FR), INCIRCLE aimed at developing regional and municipal strategies for sustainable tourism, applying the principles of the circular economy in tourist destinations located in islands and low-density areas.
- The project activities analysed the relationship between the principles of the circular economy and Mediterranean tourism policy, with a focus on the development and application of specific circular economy indicators that can improve the management and planning models of the tourism sector in the project partner territories, and in general in the programme area, with a concrete view to sustainability.
- A knowledge platform has been developed that sets the premises for the exchange of already acquired knowledge, tools, methods, and good practices in the field on circular economy applying to the tourism sector, ensuring further transferring and capitalization of existing knowledge in the tourism sector. In addition the platform enables users to evaluate the circularity and sustainability of their policies and actions with a benchmarking and self-assessment tool.

- (EN), BLUEfasma - Renforcer la capacité d'innovation des PME, des clusters maritimes et des réseaux dans les îles MED et les zones côtières pour soutenir la croissance de l'économie circulaire bleue dans la pêche/l'aquaculture.
- Programme Interreg Med (FR), BLUEfasma - Empowering innovation capacity of SMEs, maritime clusters and networks in MED islands and coastal areas to support blue circular economy growth in fishing/aquaculture.
- Interreg Med Programme (EN) | BLUEfasma integrates and implements Circular Economy (CE) principles in the key blue growth sector of fishing/aquaculture; to benefit Mediterranean insular, island and coastal areas in a novel, innovative way. Its overall objective is to empower the innovation capacity of SMEs, maritime clusters/networks, Public Authorities to boost blue CE growth in insular, island and coastal areas. Key outputs of the project are the following:
- #1 Consolidated knowledge base: systematizing best practices, tools, solutions and methods in fishing/aquaculture
- #2 Circular Economy readiness index: used as a unified MED measure of SMEs readiness & willingness to invest in CE and act as a decision support tool.

(EN), BLUEfasma intègre et met en œuvre les principes de l'économie circulaire (EC) dans le secteur clé de la croissance bleue de la pêche/aquaculture ; faire bénéficier les espaces méditerranéens insulaires, insulaires et côtiers d'une manière originale et innovante. Son objectif général est de renforcer la capacité d'innovation des PME, des clusters/réseaux maritimes, des pouvoirs publics pour stimuler la croissance du CE bleu dans les zones insulaires, insulaires et côtières. Les principaux résultats du projet sont les suivants :
- #1 Base de connaissances consolidée : systématiser les bonnes pratiques, outils, solutions et méthodes en pêche/aquaculture

- Partenaire responsable : ANETEL. (FR), INHERIT – Sustainable Tourism Strategies to conserve and valorise the Mediterranean coastal and maritime natural heritage.
- Interreg Med Programme (EN), INHERIT – Stratégies de tourisme durable pour conserver et valoriser le patrimoine naturel côtier et maritime méditerranéen.
- Programme Interreg Med (FR) | The project tested and deployed a new approach adapted to MED specificities protecting natural heritage from the adverse effects of intensive tourism. INHERIT promoted sustainable tourism alleviating seasonality and tackling the surpassing of the hosting capacity, by designing and implementing a “bottom-up” protection approach relying on self-regulation and monitoring by local society and tourism stakeholders.
- The project tested and deployed a new approach in promoting sustainable tourism that included:
- - A novel mix of measures (e.g. ICZM-MSP integration, “bottom-up” waste management initiatives) to protect its natural heritage from mass tourism effects (excess construction & waste, desertification-erosion, exceeded capacity of specific destinations, tourism seasonality);
- - A strategy of transnational cooperation to form a network of MED areas, namely INHERITURA areas, to prioritise the enhanced protection of their natural heritage as an asset to develop sustainable tourism activities (e.g. sea caving in the MED, MED inland tourism itineraries, remote islands activities) and to ensure responsible development.

INHERIT a promu le tourisme durable en atténuant la saisonnalité et en s'attaquant au dépassement de la capacité d'accueil, en concevant et en mettant en œuvre une approche de protection «ascendante» reposant sur l'autorégulation et le suivi par la société locale et les acteurs du tourisme.
- Le projet a testé et déployé une nouvelle approche de promotion du tourisme durable qui comprenait :
- - Un nouveau mélange de mesures (par exemple, l'intégration ICZM-MSP, des initiatives de gestion des déchets «ascendantes») pour protéger son patrimoine naturel des effets du tourisme de masse (construction et déchets excessifs, désertification-érosion, capacité dépassée de destinations spécifiques, saisonnalité du tourisme) ;
- - Une stratégie de coopération transnationale pour former un réseau d'aires MED, à savoir les aires INHERITURA, afin de donner la priorité à la protection renforcée de leur patrimoine naturel en tant qu'atout pour développer des activités touristiques durables (ex. activités) et d'assurer un développement responsable.

- (EN) | L'objectif de ConsumeLess Plus était d'améliorer la durabilité du tourisme dans la zone MED et d'évoluer vers une valorisation plus efficace des ressources naturelles et du patrimoine culturel. Le projet visait également à contribuer au débat urgent méditerranéen sur la relance du tourisme.
- En raison de plusieurs facteurs liés à la pandémie de COVID-19, l'industrie et l'économie du tourisme ont été paralysées. ConsumeLess Plus visait à aider la région méditerranéenne à reconstruire ses destinations en encourageant les PME à innover et à investir dans des principes durables. Le tourisme sera limité afin de promouvoir des destinations sûres. Les touristes ne rencontreront pas d'énormes foules mais pourront s'imprégner et expérimenter le style de vie communautaire de ces destinations, en d'autres termes découvrir des destinations ConsumeLess.
- Tout au long du projet, nous avons montré que devenir une destination ConsumeLess signifie que vous faites partie d'une communauté méditerranéenne qui valorise les ressources naturelles, les services écosystémiques et le patrimoine culturel. Faire partie de la communauté ConsumeLess signifie également qu'une plus grande attention est portée à l'économie et à la communauté locales, afin d'améliorer le bien-être des citoyens et des visiteurs.

(FR), The objective of ConsumeLess Plus was to enhance the sustainability of tourism in the MED area and move towards a more efficient valorisation of natural resources and cultural heritage. The project also aimed to contribute to the urgent Mediterranean debate on tourism recovery.
- Due to several factors relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tourism industry and economy have been brought down to a standstill. ConsumeLess Plus aimed to assist the Mediterranean region rebuild its destinations by encouraging SMEs to innovate and invest in sustainable principles. Tourism will be limited in order to promote safe destinations. Tourists will not come across huge crowds but will be able to absorb and experience the community lifestyle of these destinations, in order words experiencing ConsumeLess destinations.
- Throughout the project, we showed that becoming a ConsumeLess destination means that you are part of a Mediterranean community that values natural resources, ecosystem services, and cultural heritage. Being part of the ConsumeLess community also means that more attention is focused on the local economy and community, to improve the well-being of citizens and visitors.

- ENI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme (EN) | KyklOIKOdromio participates in an innovation project share-borrow-repair: CHANGE under the subgrants U-SOLVE (ENI CBC MED), which aims at the direct involvement of citizens, local authorities and repair and crafts centres into to a circular economy actions. Another aim is to undertake actions to educate the youth in sharing. The goal is to develop an online platform that will enable citizens to share products that are not using waste by providing second life to a lot of products that would be wasted. Another aim is to carry out actions to promote the loop of repairing but also to develop the first library of things in Cyprus. (EN), KyklOIKOdromio participe à un projet d'innovation partage-emprunt-réparation : CHANGE dans le cadre des sous-subventions U-SOLVE (ENI CBC MED), qui vise à impliquer directement les citoyens, les autorités locales et les centres de réparation et d'artisanat dans des actions d'économie circulaire. Un autre objectif est d'entreprendre des actions pour éduquer les jeunes au partage. L'objectif est de développer une plateforme en ligne qui permettra aux citoyens de partager des produits qui n'utilisent pas de déchets en donnant une seconde vie à de nombreux produits qui seraient gaspillés. - ENI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme (EN) | MUSOL has been in charge of a key task of the project MEDTOWN "Co-producing social policies with SSE actors to fight poverty, inequality and social exclusion" (2019-2023, Programme ENI-CBC-MED). MUSOL has developed the legal research and comparative analysis of the social and solidarity economy legal frameworks in Spain, Greece, Palestine, Jordan, Tunisia, Portugal. MUSOL also produced policy recommendations to improve such legal frameworks and facilitate the implementation of innovation in social and environmental sectors, such as the implementation of complementary currency to promote citizen's involvement in waste management. Such collaboration ensures a wide networks of contacts in the NEXT MED cooperation area and a good knowledge of the local social and evironmental challenges. (EN), MUSOL a été en charge d'une tâche clé du projet MEDTOWN "Coproduire des politiques sociales avec les acteurs de l'ESS pour lutter contre la pauvreté, les inégalités et l'exclusion sociale" (2019-2023, Programme ENI-CTF-MED). MUSOL a développé la recherche juridique et l'analyse comparative des cadres juridiques de l'économie sociale et solidaire en Espagne, Grèce, Palestine, Jordanie, Tunisie, Portugal. MUSOL a également produit des recommandations politiques pour améliorer ces cadres juridiques et faciliter la mise en œuvre de l'innovation dans les secteurs sociaux et environnementaux, comme la mise en place d'une monnaie complémentaire pour promouvoir l'implication des citoyens dans la gestion des déchets. - Programme Horizon 2020 (FR) | Le projet UPSIDE a créé des avantages économiques et sociaux grâce à des écosystèmes numériques innovants et axés sur les solutions. Le projet a promu la coopération pour le développement et les synergies entre les chercheurs, les activités d'innovation des entreprises, la politique de développement urbain et les écosystèmes d'innovation ouverte qui sont proches des intérêts et des besoins des villes et de leurs habitants et de l'économie qui peuvent combler la différence entre les priorités de développement à court terme de la ville et des recherches et expérimentations technologiques de longue haleine.
- Des outils de démocratie électronique ont été développés, qui pourraient également être utilisés pour le projet NUDGES, en particulier lorsque les gouvernements publics envisagent de renforcer la démocratie électronique. L'outil "Ce dont les citoyens ont besoin" pourrait être transféré au projet NUDGES.
- Partenaire responsable : eZAVOD (FR), The UPSIDE project created economic and social benefits through user-driven innovative digital, solutions-oriented ecosystems. The project promoted cooperation for development and synergies between researchers, innovation activities of enterprises, urban development policy and open innovation ecosystems that are close to the interests and needs of cities and their inhabitants and the economy that can bridge the difference between short-term development priorities of the city and long-term technological research and experiments.
- E-democracy tools have been developed, which could be used also for NUDGES project, especially where public governments will be thinking about strengthening e-democracy. The tool „What citizens need“ could be transferred to the NUDGES project.

URBAN INNO focused on maximizing innovation potentials of urban ecosystems through establishment of quadruple helix clusters/networks in the partner regions as well as by development and implementation of new participatory methods and tools to engage end-users in innovation processes with the objective to have educated and motivated users – SMART USERS.
- Lessons from implementing quadruple helixes as well as participative tools (URBAN INNO TOOLBOX) will be transferred to the NUDGES project and investigated their potential for further testing phase.

The project implemented solutions for early engagement of end-users into a co-creation process, bridging the innovation gap between technology development and the uptake of new products and services and early assessment of the socio-economic impacts of newly developed technologies.

- Interreg MED Programme (EN) | The partner MUSOL foundation was involved as partners of the LOCAL4GREEN project. MUSOL foundation was also partner of the capitalization project LOCAL4GREEN PLUS. The project drafted and successfully applied in more than 50 municipalities a methodology to design local fiscal policies (modification/creation of local taxes and fees) to promote the renewable energy sources. The methodological tools is a step-by-step method drafted by the partner MUSOL that was largely used by the municipalities to identify the legally, economical and technical feasible fiscal policies with more impact in terms of RES promotion. The methodological approach could inspire the NUDGE project. Furthermore, the LOCAL4GREEN provided a wide set of economic/tax incentives for citizens and companies. The project NUDGE will complete it with other kind of “incentives” according to a scientific-based study. (EN), La fondation MUSOL a été impliquée en tant que partenaire du projet LOCAL4GREEN.
