Contribution to wider strategies and policies:
- EUStrategyBalticSeaRegion Project will contribute to EUBSR strategy policy areas (PA): PA Health, PA Culture, PA Tourism.
- 1. PA Health. Project aims at improving health and social conditions, intergenerational dialogue in cross-border area by promoting active and healthy aging of the communities and tourism as well. This holistic approach will increase prosperity in the region.
- 2. PA Culture. PA Culture focuses on preservation and presentation the Baltic Sea region cultural heritage and strengthening the cultural identity of the region, as well as developing an efficient framework for Baltic Sea region cultural cooperation. Project activities include actions to promote community-led management of natural and cultural heritage and related natural and cultural tourism in cross-border region.
- 3. PA Tourism. PA Tourism actions include facilitating networking and clustering of tourism stakeholders, strengthening their tourism-related project initatives and activities. PA Tourism also aims to mobilise the full potential for sustainable tourism in the Baltic Sea region by facilitating coordination with stakeholders through joint actions, workshops and communication. Project ActConnect will implement actions that contributes to PA Tourism.
- Other Strategy project "Lithuania 2050". State's vision for the future, provided in the document: "A prosperous Lithuania: a state where people want to live and create. A state they want to protect." In order to reach this vision, a lot of strategic goals and initiatives are planned, including creating conditions for the strengthening of community ties and the development of cultural activities.
- Project aimed at sustainable development of culture and nature in cross-border region through the sustainable social tourism initiatives and strengthening of intergenerational cooperation will contribute reaching the long-term vision.
