Relevant linked projects:
- Project ASIS – Alpine Social Innovation Strategy (Interreg Alpine Space) (EN) | (max characters 500) APOLLO will take into consideration the definition and description of social innovation, which emerged from the “common vision of social innovation” output. Furthermore, it will work on the challenge highlighted in D.T2.1.1, on the topic of science, technology and digital society. Finally, some aspects of the training implemented can be used to focus on social innovation, in terms of territorial welfare. (EN), Project INTESI – Integrated territorial strategies for Services of General Interest (Interreg Alpine Space) (EN) | The policy guidelines “Enabling a remote-working ecosystem to make remote areas thrive” will represent a starting point for the pilot actions, in particular for that one implemented in Austria, since the University of Applied Sciences Vorarlberg is a partner of both ALPSATELLITES and APOLLO. (EN), Project Smart Villages – Smart digital transformation of villages in the Alpine Space (Interreg Alpine Space) (EN) | The policy guidelines “Enabling a remote-working ecosystem to make remote areas thrive” will represent a starting point for the pilot actions, in particular for that one implemented in Austria, since the University of Applied Sciences Vorarlberg and the municipality of Doren is a partner of both ALPSATELLITES and APOLLO. (EN), CARE4TECH – Cross-sectoral Alliances for Smart Living (Interreg Alpine Space) (EN) | APOLLO will continue the work of CARE4TECH on cooperation between public institutions, academia, business and civil society on the topic of digitalisation for social innovation. Furthermore, it will involve the stakeholders of the Alliance 3.4 – Smart Health & Wellbeing (EN), WE.CA.RE strategy of Piedmont Region (EN) | The Piedmont Region has implemented the WE.CA.RE strategy (co-financed by POR FSE and POR FESR), for the implementation of territorial welfare actions and the facilitation of social innovation processes in Piedmont. With the support of the LINKS Foundation, which participated in 2 WE.CA.RE projects, APOLLO will scale some main points of the strategy to the European level. In particular, it will focus on public-private collaboration and the implementation of concrete initiatives for SMEs workers. (EN), Family Audit Certification (Provincia Autonoma di Trento) (EN) | Family Audit certification is a managerial tool available to public and private organizations that intend to certify their commitment to implementing work-life balance policies and improving the individual well-being of their employees and their families.
- The certification is currently available in Italy, but the methodology used can also be scaled at a European level to create, test and share good practices.
- (EN), Bacheca digitale-Municipality of LODI (EN) | The municipality of Lodi has implemented a Digital Noticeboard which keeps the population updated on services and offers related to topics such as home, work, food, care and training. This example, which was very successful, can be used as a starting point for the database planned in WP2, on welfare services. (EN), TERA project (Strategy of Prekmurje region) (EN) | TERA’s goal is to improve work-life balance in rural areas, focusing on gender disparities and economic marginalization of women. It deals with low awareness of work-life balance options, economic decline of rural women, low stakeholder involvement and limited access to services due to remoteness. The project sets up local systems in Posavje and Pomurje to empower men and women to face work-life balance challenges. (EN), SRC-EDIH (European Digital Innovation Hub in Novo Mesto) (EN) | This center supports the digital transformation of manufacturing companies and public organizations (in the public sector) in Slovenia, focusing on five key technologies: High-Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, and Robotics. The center is a network of highly skilled hubs with rich experience in providing services to strengthen the digital transformation.
