Relevant linked projects:
- Circular 4.0 (Interreg ALPINE SPACE) (EN) | (TPLJ is LP) Knowledge and solutions can be included in the sense of digitalization in the area of the Circular Economy. In addition, various business models can be incorporated in connection with CE. Partners (THRO, TPLJ) have also developed their own questionnaire to check the risks and opportunities, which can be used in this project for status quo analysis. Another great input here is the contacts made with companies, experts, politicians, etc. (EN), METABUILDING - HORIZON 2020 (EN) | METABUILDING is a project funded by the European Innovation Council and SME Executive Agency. 15 European partners join forces to support SMEs from 6 European countries, bringing innovation to the “traditional” value chain of the Construction sector and expanding it to other industries to create an enlarged Built Environment industrial sector enabling these SMEs to internationalize their activities and reach European markets. Results from METABUILDING could be transferred into the project. (EN), Build-in-Wood (Horizon2020) (EN) | (Habitech-PP)- The project aims to develop a sustainable and innovative wood value chain for the construction of multi-stored wood buildings. Our project will capitalize on the BiW wide stakeholder community (+400 registered members on its online platform, 10.000 followers on social media to date) and the BiW Early Adopters Cities network to foster communication, knowledge/best practice sharing, and engagement activities. https://community.build-in-wood.eu (EN), GREATER GREEN (Interreg FR-B-LUX-GER) (EN) | (B&C)Greater Green is a meta-cluster in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany supporting SMEs in expanding their product range and helping them to open new markets, regarding eco-materials, and eco-design. BAUALPS could capitalise on it through its available technological advances (BIM, off-site construction…) and highlighted materials, methods, and products (use of wood, water management, selective deconstruction, robotic production line…), studied in working groups throughout the project
- (EN), circularWOOD - Zukunft Bau, Germany (EN) | (HSLU-CCTP). circularWOOD aimed to overcome barriers for the transformation towards a circular economy in timber construction. Frame conditions in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria were analyzed and solution approaches discussed. The cognitions concerning necessary concrete actions towards circular approaches will be transferred and tested in the Swiss pilot (EN), LOW Tech (IT-AT Interreg) (EN) | (INNO SALZBURG).Ob: helping the local construction sector achieve energy savings in buildings that are not based on complex, costly technologies. Our project will build on:a) promotion of economic, high-quality, energy-efficient, and environmentally compatible construction in AS;b) development of simple technical solutions for residential buildings;c) the strengthening of value chains through know-how transfer and the development of quality models and "best practice" for planning and execution (EN), Project Neyron : Redo neighborhood around a popular centrality (EN) | (CIRIDD) As part of France 2030 and the 4th Future Investment Program (PIA), launched in May 2021 the call for expressions of interest (AMI )“Sustainable city demonstrators”, endowed with 305 million euros. The project Neyron, coordinated by EPASE and in collaboration with EMSE, CEREMA, CIRIDD, TRIBU, RONALPIA, FIBOIS, ENISE, and Cité du Design, is one of the 39 national winning projects. It will be capitalised thanks to on-field feedbacks and good practices sharing during partners'pilot actions. (EN), Cradle -ALP (Alpine Space interreg 2021-27) (EN) | (CCIAAPD LP) the project foresees tools to implement circular models in several industrial sectors and enhance their transformation accordingly (but not the building sector). The mapping of local actors dealing with circularity; the transformation roadmap methodology, tools and business models to enhance circularity on SMEs can be transferred to the building sector in the frame of the NEB methodology adopted by our project (EN), Soft City Padova - Implementing the Innovation Hall in Padova (EN) | (CCIAA PD) Soft City Padova is a strategic project aiming at creating a smart city in the area between the train station and the Industrial Zone. It has been financed by Padova Chamber of Commerce and recognized by the City of Padova and the most important business associations. The pilot action will be based on this buildings under renovation/construction. (EN), ARV - Climate Positive Circular Communities - (2022-2025) - Horizon 2020 (EN) | (HABITECH) It aims to contribute to wide-scale implementation of Climate Positive Circular Communities (CPCC) by deploying large-scale demonstrators in 6 EU cities. ARV is built upon a full circular approach in construction and renovation operations, and aims to create community engagement through dedicated urban Living Labs. BAUALPS project will create synergies with the CPCC ecosystems in terms of knowledge sharing on circular buildings and possible joint initiatives. https://greendeal-arv.eu/ (EN), Participation in Level(s) Testing Phase (2019) - EU Commission's Call for expression of interest of green building experts (EN) | HABITECH took part in the pilot phase of the Level(s) framework, launched by the EU to create a common framework of indicators to report on the sustainability of buildings. It tries to harmonize and streamline existing green building schemes with circularity as one key dimension. BAUALPS capitalizes it in the project's quantitative indicators and methodology to assess the sustainability and circularity of buildings. https://environment.ec.europa.eu/topics/circular-economy/levels_en (EN)

- TerritorialAgenda2030 UNITED NATIONS - Sustainable Development goals - SDG goal 9: by supporting the adoption of circular technologies and business models in the construction sector; SDG goal 12 - contributing to responsible consumption and production with shifting from linear production to circular, resource-efficient closed-loop systems.
- Other The New European Bauhaus is a creative and interdisciplinary initiative that connects the European Green Deal to our living spaces and experiences. The values of the NEB are Sustainability,Aesthetics and Inclusion. The aim is to provide all citizens with access to goods that are circular and less carbon-intensive.The NEB initiative - that is at the core of BAUHALPS project - calls on to imagine and build together a sustainable and inclusive future that is beautiful for our eyes, minds, and souls
- Other Regional protocols to establish NEBs' representative in all project areas: Italy, local agreements for PPP to support NEB (P4 is in one of them); the Bavarian Centre for the Cultural and Creative Industries (part of P10) worked on behalf of the Bavarian Ministry of Economics (StMWi); CH support the participation to the NEB; Austrian actions under: Tyrolean sustainability and climate strategy "Leben mit Zukunft";among 5 initiatives awarded by NEB in 2022,"Creating NEBhourhoods together" in Bayern
- Other BAUHALPS makes reference to Austrian policies addressed to circularity and construction sector such as: a) Austrian Bioeconomy strategy (2019) In various fields of action, including the construction sector, the Austrian Bioeconomy strategy refers to the circular economy as an economic concept b) Tyrolean sustainability and climate strategy "Leben mit Zukunft", 2021: focusing on a balanced spatial planning and planning approach, taking into account economic, ecological and social aspects (GR-6)
