Digital transformation is an important step in the fourth industrial revolution. With the buzzword Industry 4.0, processes and tasks are digitized or mapped virtually in order to secure or further increase competitiveness. Such an important step is particularly important for small and medium-sized companies in the Eurregion Inntal region, which are increasingly located in the Bavarian-Austrian border area. These companies usually lack the appropriate equipment as well as the financial and time capacity to carry out appropriate independent training and further education. For this reason, the “Smart Factory Inntal” is to be initiated as part of the project, which aims to make the path to digital transformation easily accessible to small and medium-sized companies. Through the two project partners AXILS GmbH and TH Rosenheim, two recognized institutions are available to support companies in the context of digital transformation. In terms of content, AXILS GmbH will focus primarily on the topics of digital networked production and TH Rosenheim will provide the appropriate supplement with the topic of additive manufacturing. This cross-border connection means that companies have access to a unique “Smart Factory Inntal” training platform. For reasons of proximity and excellent facilities, the further training measures can take place, for example, at the TH Rosenheim and at the Kufstein vocational school. The planned start date of the project is October 1st, 2024. The project duration is planned to be 36 months, so the end date is defined as September 30, 2027.

Die Digitale Transformation bildet einen wichtigen Schritt im Rahmen der vierten Industriellen Revolution. Mit dem Schlagwort Industrie 4.0 werden Prozesse und Aufgaben digitalisiert bzw. virtuell abgebildet, um so die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit zu sichern bzw. weiter zu steigern. Einen solchen wichtigen Schritt gilt es vor allem auch für die kleinen und mittelständischen Unternehmen in der Eurregio Inntal - Region im bayerisch-österreichischen Grenzraum durchzuführen. Diesen Unternehmen fehlt meist die entsprechende Ausstattung sowie die finanzielle als auch zeitliche Kapazität, um hier entsprechende eigenständige Aus- und Weiterbildung durchzuführen. Aus diesem Grund soll im Rahmen des Vorhabens die "Smart Factory Inntal" initiiert werden, welche darauf abzielt kleinen und mittelständischen Unternehmen den Weg der digitalen Transformation vereinfacht zugänglich zu machen. Durch die beiden Projektpartner AXILS GmbH und die TH Rosenheim stehen zwei anerkannte Einrichtungen zur Verfügung, um die Unternehmen im Rahmen der Digitalen Transformation zu begleiten. Inhaltlich wird sich die AXILS GmbH hauptsächlich auf die Themen der digitalen vernetzten Produktion fokussieren und die TH Rosenheim wird mit der Thematik der Additiven Fertigung die passende Ergänzung bereitstellen. Dabei ermöglichen die Projektpartner beruflichen Bildungsorganisationen aus der Region den Zugang zu spezieller Bildungsinfrastruktur zu diesen Themen, damit diese passende Bildungsangebote für Unternehmen und Einzelpersonen schaffen können. Dieser Zugang richtet sich an alle anerkannten beruflichen Bildungsorganisationen der Eurregio-Inntal Region. Durch diese grenzüberschreitende Verknüpfung steht der Bevölkerung und den Unternehmen der Region somit eine einmalige Schulungsplattform "Smart Factory Inntal" zur Verfügung. Die Durchführung der Bildungsangebote kann aus Gründen der Nähe sowie der exzellenten Ausstattung beispielsweise an der TH Rosenheim sowie an der Berufsschule Kufstein stattfinden und ist grenzüberschreitend angelegt. Geplanter Starttermin des Projekts ist der 01.10.2024. Die Projektdauer ist mit 36 Monaten geplant, so dass als Enddatum der 30.09.2027 definiert ist.
